My wife and I have dined at Casa Mamma`s on almost every visit we have made to London since our honeymoon in 1986.We last dined there on the 26th September 2011 as part of our Silver Wedding Celebration and as always the food, service and atmosphere was superb. We recommend Casa Mamma`s to any of our family and friends who are visiting London.

I visited CASA MAMMA on the 13th July during a business trip. The waiters greeted me very friendly in Italian. Received first class attention and meal was served quickly . The soup of the day and the beautiful lamb were both perfectly done. An italian expresso and a bottle of water for a mere £ 20.50!!

Excellent, went here after an abortive attempt to eat at Carluccio's who seem to have no concept of customer service (20 minutes no waiter and waived away like a schoolboy)
In contrast Casa Mamma was busy but we waited only a few minutes before being seated and were served with humour and speed .
The food was good and for the location good value for money. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for good Italian fare in a pleasant lively atmosphere.

I'm italian, and i went to this restaurant a few days ago, during my trip to London.
The food was good, for an italian restaurant in London (the worst city where to eat) the staff very very nice and the price low.
The top :)

I was rather surprised when I read the somewhat variable reviews for this restaurant. In the eighteen months I have visited it about half a dozen times. It is very convenient for St. Pancras and Kings Cross stations. Each time I have found both the service and the food excellent. They could teach the Italian in St Pancras International a thing or two. The food has never had cause for complaint, be it a pasta or a meat/fish dish – it always arrives hot and is never bland. Whist it is not quite up there with my favourite Italian (Tartufo in Red Lion Street) it is very close. Recommended!

Absolutely superb. This is a real traditional Italian place - not at all pricy with very high quality food. The service was top notch and the atmosphere very pleasant indeed. I would heartily recommend this place, but you will need to book as even by 6pm getting a table is going to be a challenge.
They even know how to make a doppio machiatto properly! First rate all round!
