Nice casual restaurant with very friendly service. Standard 'pub grub'/ 'modern european' fayre. I had the steak and chips and my friend had the fish and chips. Both were tasty and reasonable V.F.M. I'd recomend it a good place to meet for a natter a glass of wine and a quick meal. If you're looking for a sense of occasion or something a bit special this is not the place but neither does it pretend to be.
