Great Value for money, with top notch dish's served in a polite and plesant manner every time I have visited!

I have been here three times now. All of them through their internet only offer.

The service is a little questionable unless you are lucky enough to get Raj who is excellent !

The place is newly decorated in a pleasant fawn style but is quite small ( 34 ) and you have to book on popular evenings.

The food is a bit above average but with the BYOB and the internet offer then its very good value for money indeed. Portion sixe is average.

Its quite a lively place at weekends but being a bit cheaper they dont all dress up very much which I think is a pity as the ambiance deserves more care from the diners.

Certainly one of my best value restaurants!

I've visited the Angel Curry Centre half a dozen times over the last year for both take-aways and eat-in food, and always found it excellent. Quick friendly service, good ingredients well cooked, and an absolute bargain.

Yet another great meal from the Angel Curry Centre! This place never fails to disappoint. Although the exterior is humble (and small - blink and you might walk straight past), the food you receive within is rich in quality and flavour. The place is unbeatable on it's food, friendly staff, value for money and the fact that you can take your own alcohol!

In response to a previous reviewer: sometimes service may seem slow in relation to the small number of people dining in the restaurant, but Angel Curry Centre does also have a take-away service which would cause their resources to be split over the two functions and therefore might cause delays to the restaurant service.

I had diner there and I would definitely recommend this place, food was amazing, great value for money and more importantly the service was fantastic, very friendly and always with a smile.

Had a meal here last night with some friends and it was excellent! 5 courses for £10 was great and we had so much to eat we couldn't finish it. Service was excellent and they even let us use their fridge for our beers. Would definitely recommend this place - I can't fault a single thing!

Hi just celabrated my 40th birthday at this wonderful curry house. The food was wonderful the service amazing along with been such great value for money . We all had a fab night and my young grand daugther was also with this truely is a family friendly restuarant to eat.

Prior to eating at this restaurant, I checked out the online reviews and expected the service to be subpar - it was not. Everything was excellent, especially our waiter, Rej. At the end of the meal, I even told him that the reviews I read talked about bad service and that it turned out to be quite pleasant. Also, how can you beat a restaurant that lets you bring in your own alcohol?

I went here with my boyfriend recently, relatively early in the evening so we were the only ones there. The service and food was probably the best I've had in a London curry restaurant. However, we went back soon after and although the food was still excellent, the service was extremely slow even though they weren't that busy (about 6 other people eating at the same time). We waited an hour from entering to getting our food! A couple at a nearby table waited 10-15 mins for their order to be taken after they had said they were ready!

Having spied the Angel Curry Centre one day in Islington, my boyfriend and I decided to make it our next port of call for eating out. So, having read good reviews about the place, with bottle in hand (the restaurant as a bring your own booze policy), off we went. Angel Curry Centre certainly didn't disappoint. My boyfriend, who is a bit of a curry enthusiast, upon finishing his meal, stated that he'd just eaten one of the best vindaloos ever. My dansak and side orders were delicious as well. The waiters were lovely; welcoming and friendly. Being able to take your own alcohol is a deinite plus - although this can lead to over consumption (the road undulated somewhat as we left the premises!). We will definitely be back there soon.
