The Winchester

I booked this place for our xmas work dinner which consisted of more than 15 people. I was drawn to this bar/restaurant by the cosy atmosphere. However, the food was dissappointing. They did replace my meal with the lobster shell as decor and no actual lobster. I was reluctant to send my food back a second time. My colleague were not impressed with the under cooked beef which was supposed to be well done.

A good recommendation for drinks but definietly not for food.

looks and feels immeasureably better after the recent refit. great place to go for proper cocktails and bar snacks, but be prepared to wait on busy nights (friday, sat, etc).
