The Green

My boyfriend and I ate here for Sunday lunch recently.

Our experience from the minute we walked in was amazing. The staff here are really pleasant always smiling and very helpful.

I had the roast beef and my partner had roast pork. My beef was cooked to perfection and the pork was delicious. The veggies that came with it were delicious as well.

The only criticism I have is for 2 people the veg portion was quite small, lots of roast potatoes but only say one spoonful of carrots between us at the most.

This said it would not put us off going again, the atmosphere was excellent, a really busy, friendly place.

Try it you will not be disappointed.

My wife and I went to the Green on Sunday for the roast dinner. It was fantastic. Well prepared and tasty food. King size portions. My wife had the pork and I had the chicken, and both dinners were excellent.

We are looking forward to dinning at the Green on Sunday the next time we are back in London. We highly recommend the Green.

I've had two Sunday lunches in The Green - both great food, friendly service and reasonably priced. We also went one Sunday evening and ate really tasty food from the tapas menu during a great live music session. I really like this place!

I eat here at least twice a month when I'm in london. Understated decor. Simple recipies, great ingredients, very well put together. Superb service. Wonderful food. Nice and relaxed. Clients needing a local lunch/dates usually agree. Weekdays are better than weekend in my view - but Sunday lunch is still extremely good. Very reasonable.

We went on a Sunday for Roast and it was fantastic. Between us all we had Beef, Pork and Lamb, all were cooked perfectly and a big bowl of roast potatoes finished it off. The service was good, relaxed but friendly. I eat out a lot in London and this is the best restaurant I have been to in a long time.

I did a random search on the web for a good place to have Sunday Roast in that area and came up with The Green. Excellent Sunday roast! I went with 3 other people and I had Salmon while my friends had beef and pork and all were lovely (including all the trimmings!) Desserts were included in the sets and nicely presented and delicious. The great experience was completed with the equally good service, the waiters and waitress were so cheerful and helpful that I insisted it must be a family or friends run business.

The pub downstairs provides a good English roast in a relaxing atmosphere, though it's never going to be called the greatest bargain in the history of lamb dinners. The well-stocked free jukebox provides some awesome background music, and the fun and friendly staff really add to the experience. Could prove dangerously relaxing on a lazy Sunday afternoon...
