Great food at great prices. Amazing staff, free poppadoms, sauces and salads. Free complimentary drinks after your meal and a little something for the children too - chocolates and lollies so the kids are also happy when leaving.

I love it, my family love it, and we are all going to be back very very soon!!

this is an amazing restaurant, i love the food, the staff are great, and everything is exactly how its supposed to be.

food is exceptionally well cooked, and the actual delivery times are great. they have great communication with customers.

they give you free popadoms on arrival with sauces, and also complimentary drinks on departure.

i will definitely be going back for more as this has become my regular now.

This is a great restaurant and within walking distance of home. Great value and super staff. Lovely decor and really homely; like being in someone's living room. Good value too - I just wish they would stock cider, but hey, that's not worth complaining about; I can always have lemonade or tap water.

I've had a few take-aways from this restaurant and this is the third time that I've been let down. I placed an order by phone to be told that the food would be ready in 25 minutes. I got there 25 minutes later to be told that the food is not ready and would take another 10 minutes. I went off and came back about 10 minutes later and my order was still not ready! I waited another 10 minutes before being handed my food. So in essence I waited almost an hour for a take-away!

That was the service, now about the food; Onion bhaji had completely fallen apart in the tin. Keema naan was cold and undercooked. Chicken tikka masala & chicken madras was dry and overcooked and with no flavour to the dish apart from the sauce. Mushroom Pilau was just about warm. The only dish which was any good was the bombay aloo.

I was given a free bottle of lager for waiting so long but no free popodoms! OK they were busy in the restuarant that night but that's no excuse to serve substandard food, which took nearly an hour to prepare. On the previous two occasions, when I waited about 40 minutes for my take-away, there were only a couple of diners in the restaurant. Needless to say I will not be going there ever again even if they proposed a free meal to me.

My wife and I have been regulars at Ruhits for nearly ten years, and we fully agree with one of the other reviewers, who wrote that it is the best Indian restaurant in London. The ingredients are fresh, the standard of preparation is as near to perfection as one can hope, and the welcome and service are always friendly. We love the place, and would move in if we were allowed to. We are immensely fortunate to have such a fine restaurant on our doorstep.

I went to Ruhits because of the previous reviews and I couldn't agree more. I'm lucky this is my local indian, the service is great and food even better. And all this is so cheap, for 2 starters, 2 mains and a bottle of nice chianti just £35!!!

Went for a meal here at the weekend, having used their delivery service for some time. Found it to be an excellent, small place, not cutting edge at all but none the worse for it. The room is designed in such a way that a large number of tables can be fitted in without it feeling as though you're being overheard, and overall the environment is perfectly pleasant. The menu offers most of the staples of the generic Indian / Bangladeshi restaurant, and from my experience does them well - this isn't the place to come if you're after something more "authentic" or unusual. The wine list is short and reasonably priced and the service was first rate. All in all, a good enough evening out, and a first rate neighbourhood restaurant.
