We recently had an evening out in Bombay dreams and I have to say it was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had, the service is slow, the food is terrible and seriously over priced. The beer on tap had gone off and smelt of eggs also the spirits are very expensive. If you are thinking about going to this place I would seriously consider again, the images on the Bombay dreams web site are completely mis-leading, its basically a glorified ware house basement, dont make the same mistake I did and avoid this place at all costs. Any positive review you read for this place must have either been writen by the managment or someone from another planet where a good night out consists of sitting in a basement, drinking eggy beer, eating over priced greasy food. STAY AWAY!

Didn't expect too much and wasn't disappointed, food was pretty bland and boring, seating very cramped, don't eat meat but the meat dishes looked very oily.

After the meal requested coffee and was refused, asked for tea and was refused. Never got to the bottom of why, but have never been to an asian restaurant before that doesn't offer coffee or tea.

The food - there was only one curry and daal for veggies, not sure if it's fair veggies should pay full price for not being able to eat half the food. £26.50 is a fair price for a meal, not really a buffet I felt. The potato bhaiya were partially uncooked, and very plain as were the onion ones. The potato wedge type things were alright, but would have tasted better warm.

Belly dancer was not bad, the singers were very good (I've been before and they have been absolutely awful), and some of the waiters were very friendly.

I would say go Blue Ginger or Papa J's if you want to enjoy the food and are not just looking for entertainment.
