Dead. No one there and my partner ate from 8pm to 10pm on a Friday night. Lifeless to say the least. Food was average and the whole affair wasn't worth the money. Not going back for sure.

was an excellent experience the food was ok, but the service was an experiences. Great staff know what they are doing. The ambiance was terrific, court was stunning with the setup as it was made me nervous. But i indeed loved it. Speically the service team. Truely recommendable, will return.

Went to this restaurant on Friday and I cannot recommend it enough!!

We had the tasting menu and the food is absolutely sublime!!! And the setting of the courtroom makes in an even more amazing experience. Expensive but worth every penny.

My husband and I are french, and we spent last weekend in London. I booked Silk restaurant after reading your comments. We arrived and the place looks great, even if the waitor was astonished when I said we booked a table. Nevermind, we spent our saturday evening in this very nice place, both of us : no other customers came for dinner that night !

Regarding the menu, I requested the duck. Unfortunately, there was no more "because of the quality" said the chief. Then my husband asked for a bottle of wine : there was no more... He asked for another kind of wine, same answer !!! Finally, he chose one wine in a better category with the price going with...

Otherwise, we have had a great dinner : appetizers were delicious, and the flavour of our dinner really refined.

I just would like to underline it is thai and indian food, no british food as said on your page !!!

I will recommend this place for the nice service, the exceptional historical decoration and the food, even if expensive and sometimes hard to get what you want !

I took my girl to the Silk last saturday and I must say that it is the best restaurant I have ever visited. Amazing surroundings, best food ever, very good service and great value. To my surprise it is located in the same building as Hotel Courthouse Kempinski that I stayd in last weekend. Along with The Bar this is a perfect package for the traveller.

had dinner there this past saturday and had such a fab gastro experience! the taste, smells and food presentation was out of this world! service was very good! will definitely go back and highly recommend this restaurant!

was a good evening but could have been better if we had a meal quicker.To my suprise the manager had a strange remark to cover the delays.."we are short staff in the restaurant and the kitchen today"...and then i saw food being served on the next table that came after us...then came the second..."they are the friends of the owners"...!!!are we being honest or just plain stupid here??

hope someone read this and had them prepared with better one liners

The decor was very unique, I was impressed by it, the service was really good as well. The portions for the main course were fine, but the food was not very authentic especially since I come from an Asian country. The dessert was very delicious byut the portions were small. Despite having the 50% off deal, the total bill was still pricey. Overall, the atmoshpere was great, I had a good night.

Silk was a great experience, service was just wonderful the waiter had excellent knowledge of all the dishes and ingredients we had the 10 course tasting menu which was £80 per person but really value for money and an excellent way to get to know the restaurant I can't to go back.

One of the best meals I have had. The Gol Gappa for starter was a very innovative way I am told of having it as compared to the traditional way. The Prwna were also tenderly prepared with a fantastic aray of spice and flavour. For main we had the aubergine mix and lentil along with the fish and bread basket. Truly sumptuous! Yje chef prepared a selcetion of deserts for us which were divine. A definite visit in a very historical setting.
