Music was too loud playing pop/soft rock banging in our ears. Service was lousy, food portions were tiny for price we paid for. Next stop Joy King Lau, Soho, at least they offer fruit and dessert included in bill.

I live on the development and overlook the Blue Thames. The restaurant is almost always deserted and after visiting last week during their 50% off food promotion I now know why....

The food isn't horrible but only because its tasteless and bland. I'd like to call it very 'average' but thinking about it, I've never had a takeaway this bad. Even though we were the only 2 people in there, the service was slow.

The decor and the view are both excellent and helped distract us from the tired looking food though. With only 2 people in a 150+ cover restaurant, the atmosphere was obviously non existent. Suffice to say I was very disappointed and I won't be going back. If for some bizarre reason you want to visit then I would hurry up because I can't see them being in business for much longer. Even on Chinese New Year they were only about a quarter full from what I could see.

My partner and I went there on Wednesday 18th January. We felt the atmosphere was like an out of season meditteranean holiday restaurant (as is the whole area/out of season/lifeless). The food was very average and we would have been very unhappy if we had paid the full amount ie not had the current 50% discount.

The service however was lovely and we did both feel very relaxed,(I really enjoyed my gin and tonic!) We wont be going back again once the discounted session ends, but possibly one more try before this.

Staggeringly poor, i don't think one dish was even reasonable. The only redeeming feature was the meddly of Westlife and Boyzone being played throughout. But even that is not enough to tempt me back.

The food was revolting and even on 50% off deal was terrible value. Restaurant freezing with no atmosphere.Starters of dim sum-tasted of cheap old oil;seafood wrap tasted of water (frozen seafood)Mains disgusting texture and covered in gloop.Meat flabby and cheap (chick and beef).Couldn't wait to get out.Never again

A great chinese restaurant, their spring rolls are to die for,a little pricy but this reflects in the quality of the food. Beautiful Interior design 5****

There's a limited choice of good chinese restaurants in the Clapham/Wandsworth area so I was quite excited by potential of this one - huge building on the river, good decor, lovely views...

Firstly on a Thursday night just before Xmas we found ourselves 2 of a total of 4 people in there(it must be able to seat 200+). Then when we tasted the food we could see why - it all looked like normal chinese fayre but every dish tasted wishy-washy and bland - nowhere near as good as most of the restaurants in China Town. The service was okay, but considering the number of people there it could have been quicker.

Very disappointed and will have to continue our search for a nice chinese in the area.

Blue Thames offer the best in Chinese cuisine. Far from the glutinous flavour of most takeaways. Not only is the food light but very fresh and delicious.

A Very resonable price for the quality.

I had to commment on the Service and Atmospehre to make this review be excepted even though I have not actually been inside, so don't take my word for it.
