First experience at Incanto. Amazing building. Was told it was an old post office. Staff informed, knowledgeable and above all friendly. I enjoy my wine, a trainee connoisseur. This restaurant has a great list which is good value. Trio of chocolate was mindblowing. 9 out of 10, service 9 out of 10 and value for the quality 10 out of 10.

Snowed in on Harrow on the Hill and cupboards were bare so took wife along to Incanto for a meal. Unusually quiet for dinner but unsurprising with the icy local side roads being particularly treacherous. Scallops and venison were absolutely top notch and we couldn't resist sharing the vanilla pannacotta with mango which was delicious. Incanto always delivers even at a time when some restaurants can be a bit hit or miss with the slower trade.

Super food and good atmosphere let down by the fact that it was necessary to ask who had ordered what at every stage. It really is not impossible to note on the order form. This would move the restaurant up a rung.

It is not often that I feel the need to write a glowing report on a restaurant. However David Taylor and his fabulous chefs along with the delightful team at ‘Incanto’ do deserve a huge applause for their continued success of the Italian restaurant on Harrow on the Hill.

From the very moment I started planning my 40th birthday party this summer, David Taylor ticked all the boxes, with listening to my wishes and soothing my worries. David managed to take away all the stresses and anxieties that I would normally feel in planning the perfect al fresco party. A level of intimacy was created in having my 40th party at ‘Incanto’, following a champagne drinks reception in my rose garden near the restaurant.

After creating a summer menu chosen with the freshest seasonal produce available, my friends had plenty to smile about on the night with the exquisite choice of fresh Italian food. The evening started perfectly with canapés, breads and fine wines which flowed in abundance all evening.

I enjoyed myself knowing my brand new kitchen was not going to be filled with empty dishes and glasses at the end of the night. I did not have to lift a finger all night, leaving me feeling further refreshed at the end of the party.

‘Incanto’ attended all of our needs even with the last minute party plans and printing of party games. The staff were impeccable in manner and worked to the highest standards we know in the industry. The personal touch was felt all evening from everyone.

A sparkle of atmosphere, a professional service, and most importantly the finest food was enjoyed by all and with no worry about cost. The quality and value of the food at ‘Incanto’ is a true gem, and well deserves to be on the top of a list of fine Italian dining restaurants in London.

This restaurant really cares about you the customer and delivers the highest standards of food at all times. We look forward to planning more parties in the years to come at ‘Incanto’. A huge thank you to the highly recommended Incanto Team.

A good italian-ish restaurant

Food is good, atmosphere is reasonable, the service is a bit slow even with a half full restaurant on a wednesday night.

Well worth another visit

I think it's safe to say that Incanto is the only one of its calibre in the Harrow and possibly the wider Middlesex area.

Every dish shouts freshness and I can virtually tell the time of year without having to look at a calendar just by what is on the current menu.

Last week I had the first of this year's English asparagus simply brushed with truffle butter. I could have eaten it for starter, main course and dessert.

David and his team should be commended for running such a restaurant that is such a pleasure to go to time and time again.

Incanto is spot on for a business lunch. Excellent food and unobtrusive service. Had a really excellent rump steak which I could have cut with a fork. Comfortable, calm surroundings and staff are happy if not busy to let you have a bigger table for two to spread your papers on. Andrew Lloyd-Webber was on the next table when I went last week. Good value deal for credit crunch times.

I took my wife here for a surprise birthday celebration after reading the good review on this website. I can now say for myself that all the praise is deserved. Food was excellent (we had smoked eel and game terrine followed by linguine and the most melt in the mouth leg of pork) all fresh and imaginative dishes. The set menu is extremely competitively priced and meant that we could go for a more expensive Shiraz which complimented the meal perfectly.

The real stars of the evening were the staff. Happy Birthday was said to my wife when we arrived and although they were very busy there was always time for a friendly word. We were never rushed and even though I offered to leave our table at the end of the meal to make way for other customers we were assured that it was not necessary. We were so impressed with everything that we have recommended this place to all our friends. Thank you Incanto for making it a perfect romantic night for us.

Delicious, delicious, delicious. That just about sums up the three courses I had. Exceptional value with the current offer and what's best is that you can choose from the whole menu. Total contrast to other restaurant offers which look great but when you arrive there are only scrappy leftovers on a set menu to pick from. If I had to pick the smallest downside, it's quite difficult to get parked on the roads outside, but that's hardly the restaurants fault. I'll just arrive a bit earlier next time coz I'll be back really soon.

This place is seriously good. Food simply cooked but very very tasty. I'm a dessert fiend and could have eaten anything (and probably all at once) of the ones on the menu. I just about managed to limit myself to one dessert and the white chocolate and cherry panacotta was superb.

I am surprised though why the reviewers below have mentioned pricing. Sure there are cheaper but you'd have to visiting a high street chain without any of the quality. I'd rather pay a few pounds more for this standard of food any day.
