I am a local and visited the White Horse for the first time on Friday night and enjoyed it so much I went back again on Monday. The bar space is lovely - a sort of asymmetric triangle room with high windows on the corner of South End green. Wooden tables and a lovely ceiling. The setting is relaxed and quaint. There is a small adjoining annex which is semi open air with patio heaters. The Thai food is great - a good range and reasonable value for money. I had the Thai green curry with coconut rice and a large glass of wine which came to around £17. What I liked about the White Horse is that the staff are really friendly and relaxed and the service is prompt. This is a marked contrast to many of the other pubs and cafes in the area (The Wells springs to mind as a contrast....)

@xwendylamx Patience! ;) They have to be read and approved first. (This helps us catch spammers, restaurants hyping themselves etc).
