ASK (Park St)
your comments review this restaurant and win a bottle of champagne
Most of the reviews I write are of fairly highly rated restaurants, yet we do eat just as often in places such as this that we've used regularly rather than frequently for some years.
Lunch today was pleasant enough; starters, pastas, a glass of wine each and coffees for £40, and whilst nothing was memorable there was nothing that didn't taste good either.
Service was smiley and quite brisk, though the young lady concerned had obviously graduated very recently from the school of upselling.
What happened to the tuna crostini? Are people confusing change with progress here?

Overall i would recomed it to anyone looking for a decent italian meal with family or friends in a relaxed informal atosphere.
dress code - casual / smart casual
service - excelent food was served without long breacks and we were happily supplied with christmas crakers!
food - good quality italian cusine in served in decently large portions and well presented see there website for complete menu.
price - good value for money a 15 ich stone baked pizza costs just under 10 pounds! again see online menu for prices. but average price per person is about £20 - £25
