Well what can I say. Went to eat in this restaurant for the first time on wednesday night. I went along with my partner as we had downloaded a voucher that allowed us to have two for the price of one. All I need to say is that I felt quite guilty for only paying half price. I have never been served by a more efficient waitress or eaten a tastier pasta. Although the restaurant was packed to the brim the waitresses could not do enough to help us. At one point I saw a chef go into the bar to help the girls make the drinks - what a team!! Voucher or no no voucher I will be back soon.

Enter this restaurant at your peril. My partner and I went there for dinner and felt ill the next day. The dessert looked like it came out of the freezer but it was the best part of the meal. Otherwise the pasta was bland and came out of a can. The garlic bread is far better at Strada---at Zizzi it was hardly edible. The waiter was pushy and the entire staff seemed more interested in bolstering business and customer loyalty (through free gimmicky gazpacho) than actually preparing a decent meal. Noticed too that there were disturbingly many microwaves and that the lasagne went into the microwave before being toasted in the oven--hardly 'oven baked'. In two years of dining out with my partner we have never felt ill in each other's company. Zizzi tops the list of bad eateries in London.

What a fantastic place to eat. We travelled over from Ireland for a few days and had heard about the upgrade. Looks great. Staff could not be better. Very good food at a reasonable price (excellent value for money). Service top drawer. Worth the trip.
Would go back again excellent.

The food's very good, the portions likewise. Very reasonably priced and with helpful, friendly staff. The only downside is that the seating's rather cramped.

I've eaten here on quite a few occasions accompanied by small child, it is child friendly as are all the chain restuarants in Highgate. Not sure about kids running riot - maybe I have been lucky and don't allow mine to do the same. The staff are very good and accomodating which should be normal but sadly isn't for many London eateries. You also get good portions unlike the competition. Gets my vote.

A WORD OF WARNING! this branch of this particular chain of restaurants operates what they call a 'child friendly' policy. what this actually means is that children are allowed [possibly encouraged?] to run riot, screaming and shouting, whilst no attempt is made to control them by anyone; parents, guardians or staff. if you like a positively unpleasant dining experience try it on a saturday or sunday lunchtime. absolutely awful.

I went there for my Christmas meal with staff from the Whittington Hospital and we thoroughly enjoyed it.T he food was absolutely lovely with generous portions, there was more than enough food, and great value for money. The atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff was very welcoming. I would recommend any of my friends etc to go there, and I will certainly be returning again in the near future.
