Zizzi (Canary Wharf)

I strongly suggest you ignore the whingers' reviews. There are far too many people all too willing to pan a restaurant on the smallest of flaws, while the happy majority are unheard. So this is for all the hundreds of us who have really enjoyed a night out at Zizzi. Four of us ate at Zizzi Canary Wharf tonight. Great meal, great service, friendly host, and good value. Restaurant is attractive and in a brilliant location on the river. Clean, modern loos. All round a really good night out. Highly recommended.

Myself and my partner have dined at Zizzi Canary Wharf a number of times and after our last visit we shall not be dining there again. We have been slightly dissatisfied with this restaurant on a number of occasions but never that much to not return...Until our last visit! The food is average and the worst part of the experience is having to deal with the arrogant staff. The service at this place is appalling! Upon entering we were waiting to be seated but were completely ignored for the first 10 minutes even after making eye contact with the staff. My girlfriend wanted some bread to go with her meal so asked a waiter but instead he felt it was more important to clean the tables so she asked a different waiter who brought the bread over. The original waiter then got annoyed that we asked someone else as it had gone on the system twice but if he had attended to our request instead of cleaning tables in an empty restaurant that would not have happened. I repeat the staff here are very, very arrogant and i would advise to stay well away from Zizzi Canary Wharf. If you must go to Zizzi i would suggest you go the the Shad Thames branch instead.

i was yesterday 30/04/2011 the quality of food was very commercial like cheap restaurant. But i don`t want talk about food but about the service. i took 2 minutes to go in the toilet leaving on the table one glass full of wine and when i come back some one clean the table without ask me nothing.I think the place offer service like mc donald`s.

I came with my husband to dine at this wonderful restaurant on Sunday 22/01/2010. We were served by a wonderful and pleasant woman named Inese. Since we were there for the first time she explained to us the excellent menu and recommended their favourite dishes. we ordered and were not mistaken. The food was incredibly delicious. We had a very good time and encourage you to go.
