My husband and I went to this restaurant a couple of weeks ago and had a disappointing experience. I ordered a spaghetti with meatballs and when it arrived the meatballs were not hot so we sent it back. To our amazement and horror and despite it being an open plan kitchen, one of the cooks took my meal and placed it in the microwave! However one of the other cooks saw us watching them so they begrudgingly took my meal back out of the microwave and back into the pan to reheat.
We have been to this branch of Zizzi's before and have never had this bad of an experience before. Needless to say, we will never been returning to this restaurant again.

I have been in this restaurant for the last couple of years and I have to say it is a good choice if you want a cheap quick bite. Ok, you won't expect over te top service or a personal butler with the price you pay but hey, they are actually quite a cheerful bunch of staff. The food there is reasonably priced and taste great. The wine list is good for arestaurant it's category, if I want a nice drink, I'll goto Jaimes next door! Frankly, I would take my colleagues and friends to the restaurant for a nice chilled out meal, which means no screaming kids around us. (No offence to the parents though!)

I can safely say that the absolute best customer service I have ever received was at my local Zizzi pizza restaurant when I went in to pick up a takeaway meal.

I have never been to a place with such a relaxed, unstuffy atmosphere while maintaining it's effortlessly tip-top attention to detail, ambience and service. The staff are all delightful, couldn't do enough for you and make you feel special from the moment you go in to the (unfortunate) time when you have to leave. The management here are perfectionists and I cannot wait to see them all again. Many thanks.

I don't know what should I say because I really like this restaurant. That's true food is not always the same good but I think that service is good all the time, sometimes they can make u upset when asking 'are u ok?' but they're asking everyone so maybe they have to. I really enjoy my meals there especially outside. The view is amzing!!

I agree with all the recent reviews. Just left my review on the Zizzi's website and waiting for a response. I wonder whether they will be interested in implementing any improvements to the customer service in their Canary Wharf branch.
Food is quite good, but I'm rating everything else '0' even 'Value for money', because the customer service staff managed to ruin my evening, so the place has no value to me at all.

The atmosphere at Zizzi's, Docklands is terrible!
grumpy waiters,and they frown that the tip is small! They don't deserve anything!
not a single smile during our dinner!
and they are not child -friendly!
We''ll go to Carluccio's next time!

After the boat trip my son and I went to have dinner in Zizi, Canary Wharf.
This is the worst restaurant : the waiter was so grumpy,my son's pizza came burnt and with very little cheese. (Thanks for the lovely waitress who changed it afterall) But the sad thing is -you don't feel welcome here. The waiter almost grabbed my unfinished salad while I was slicing my son's pizza. Not a single smile during our dinner!
When the bill came and I left a small tip while paying by card,another waitress just frowned.(And where is 'thank you'?) For God's sake,they should be happy I left the tip for this bad service!
When we were leaving we didn't hear any thanks.
Zizzi's is terrible,we'll go to have dinner at Carluccio's next time!

This is one of the most terrible restaurants I have ever been to, if you can call it a restaurant ofcourse. You can't complain about the service because THERE IS NONE! The first time we went there, they served our plates to the table next to us and right after the guy had a spaggetti off my plate, the waitress realised the mistake and thought it would be good to JUST transfer the plates to our table!
When we said to her that these are the same plates she had just put on the table next to us, she said "no they are not". So obviously she thinks we are stupid or blind. And she was right about us being stupid because we went back there! We hoped that the first incident was just a bad day or something. We wanted to have a bottle of wine and a ciabbata and after we started eating and drinking they said to us that we MUST have a main as well. We said "well we are not that hungry" but they said that it is a restaurant and we are obliged to have a main!
Then we said that they didn't tell us from the start and we asked to bring us the licence that says that we are obliged to have a main!
We called tha manager and argued for a while. We left without paying. Anyway, enough said, just do not go there, it sucks.
oh, the food is good by the way.
