Olive Garden

The Olive Garden in Raynes Park is our new "once a week" local. We used to favour The Fox and Grapes but that seems to have gone off since the change of management...we then transfered to the Dog and Duck. Still good but a bit further to walk and not very cosy. The Aviary unfortunately, in our experience, needs to take a step back and look at what it's doing. We paid £75 for a relatively inedible (had to send it back) meal the other evening. The Olive Garden, however seems to be the best around at the moment. Both times we've been there during the week it's been full, which tells its own story. As a girly, I recommend either two starters or just a bruschetta and main course...since the portions are so large.

Good value, nice uncomplicated atmosphere. The number is 0208 296 0205. ..I couldn't find it anywhere online...

After 7 months of walkign past the olive garden obn my way to and from work in southfeilds, i finally decided to see what all the fuss was about at the olive garden,

The outside terrace was lovely in the warm weather and family friendy, as i enjoyed a nice garlic bread starter i was happy to watch the families around me with their children being well fed and enjoying the lovely atmosphere,

The food was delicious and the sea food was particularly great.

The vibe is relaxed and nice and romatnic for couples and also nice and relaxing for an early meal for families.

This is my local restaurant and it is fab. I recently went to San Lorenzo and can honestly say the Italian food at Olive Garden is nicer than there. The service is friendly and the prices very reasonable. Saying that it is the nicest restaurant in Southfields really means nothing as there is only one other restaurant (a rubbish Thai called Thai Girder) and a Wetherspoons! However, this is definitely my favourite local restaurant - this and Shambles in Teddington. Not so local - but very cosy with truly superb food.

We had a lovely time for my birthday celebrations there. We were 11 people, which staff handled very well. The food was great, from beginning to end, really top class! I would recommend this place to anyone. The quality is so high, you don't expect this caliber of food in a small local restaurant. Way to go! We'll be going there much more often now. The atmosphere also cosy & relaxing. Good choice.

When i just walk into the olive garden atmosphere was lovely. The service was exellent and the food was great. The cost was so cheap.

i've tried Italian food everywhere in the area but the one in olive garden in southfields...my god that makes me drule when i think about the food there...its so amazing...i think everyone should try that italian restaurant once in their life..everything was perfect...service food atmosphere everything...! once you ate there you will be addicted to the Olive garden...

We're from Durban, South Africa! My husband, daughter & I visited Olive Garden in December 2005. It was fantastic! Excellent food. The Seafood Marinara the best! We'll be over again this December 2006 & plan further lunches & dinners at Olive Garden and will remember to book as it's pretty popular! Would like to know if open on Xmas Day. Plse advise.
