i went to this restaurant and found it very good atmosphere, good crowd all types, young, families, elder generation etc, can be bit of a wait in queue so definately better to pre book table. good great and value for money, recommended.

Nice decor, friendly service and food that is above average.

The reason to visit this restaurant is for the Indo-Chinese food and great starters.

That said whilst it's not amazing, it is good solid food that you won't go wrong with.

It does have plasmas whereever you look, so for a sporting event its great.

Good place, but not not amazing.

I come to BG very regularly. Great atmosphere, what else can I say. I have not experienced such food & service ever before. They are buzzing with people everyday, that's an achievement in itself. Well done!!

BG is and always has been a local bar, designed to meet the needs of the local community. It seems that word of mouth has been it's downfall. The reason it takes soooo long to get your food is the same reason it tastes so great, if you go to any indian household and watch dinner being prepared it takes a lot longer than 20 minutes!! There lies the problem, speed up delivery of food and lose the quality in know which I prefer. APPAULING service, are we to assume that all these waiters/waitresses come from countries where alcohol is non-existent; I think not! It's because they work HARDER and LONGER hours for LESS money than their English speaking counter parts that they have their jobs? BG has a faithful crowd of locals and does not rely on pulling in people from far and wide; as such I think it serves it's purpose and I will continue to go there and "RELAX" with a drink or two while I wait 40 minutes for my dinner...if you want lightning service go to KFC across the road!

FOOD = AWESOME

SERVICE = go to bar for drinks!! the staff are mainly there for food orders

ATMOSPHERE = changes depending on the day FRI/SAT are v.busy!!

VFM = you could save 50p a drink or £1.50 on a curry by eating elsewhere, but if your really that desperate to save some cash maybe you should buy a microwave meal and stay at home?

Dont go here unless you have a lot of patience! You need atleast 3 hours. The service is appauling, your food doesnt arrive on time or all the order together. The worst bit is the food is fantastic, great shame!

Dear Sirs,

Last Saturday I booked a table for 6 at 8pm under the name of Mr Chadha, this was the second time I visited your resturant, the food was excellent my only regreat was that the food was served cold. The starter, seek kebab was cold and part raw, when ordering the main course, I requested the waiter that our food be served piping hot, but this was not to be, your food is very good but please try and serve the food hot
