Please do yourself a favour and go somewhere else, they not very children friendly when we asked to make mild food and were told "All the sauces are pre made in week" and they can't change it... Used to be really good at one point , not worth it and a rip off

Went to Blue Ginger for a New Year treat with relatives. The only tables available were near the toilets. Food was overpriced, oily and hardly any meat or fish in the awful sauce which tasted the same in all the dishes. It brings shame to Indian food. I would never go there again.

What has happened to this place??? It used to be so good before , not now!!

The standard of food has dropped so much, the meat they use of the 4 times I have been there in 8 weeks is really bad. The food is tasteless and cold when it arrives and the buzz has gone. The managment really need to listen and sort it out along with the decor of the place and cleaness. I used to take our clients there and cannot after such a drop in quality. The prices have gone up too.

Managment listen to this review... you're loosing out to Abercorn, Clay oven lounge and mumbai junction !!!

Blue Ginger is disappointingly awful food and service! They don’t have any dishes which were freshly prepared, everything tastes the same and the dishes are too oily.

Service is extremely with capital E… POOR. Overly priced old food, unfriendly faces, smelly ambiance and rude management.

Our food was served like 1.5 hours later (starters) then with the mains they forgot our rice/breads which came after another 30mins. Management was very hasty and not listening to find a solution.

Nowadays you see a lot of these wanna-be restaurants opening up, calling themselves INDIAN whilst they have no clue what Indian food is nor they have any service etiquettes.

Never go here.

Agree with all the bad comments below from a personal point of view.

This resturant is really a sports bar combined with restaurant it appeals to those who like that type of thing and does it well. (the web site gives it away with a picture of a TV) Would be good for a 'lads night out' but for some it keeps the whole family happy. The food itself tends to be covered in a sugary gluttonous sauce combined with spices that you normally expect on the food you have ordered, then you will like it and some people love it. I would not want to fill my myself with so much over-priced unhealthy rubbish again.

Well the customer service was great at Blue ginger.. We went quite late but we were accomadated for. We ordered a number of different starters mixed bhajia and paneer for the veggies and non veg lamp chops and jeera chicken. The lamb was badly cooked and the chicken was vile.. The veggies seemed to be enjoying their food well apart from the paneer which was just paneer chunks and a very sour sauce... It was horrible with a nasty after taste. We then ordered main which was prawns, chicken birayana and talka daar.. Everybody had one bite and left the rest of the food. We then ordered dessert which was Ras Malai and that was basically ras malai with added milk and all you could taste was semi skimmed milk. The bill came and it was £89 WHAT AN OUTRAGE!!! Day light robbery... My family and I live in Harrow and dine in very good and tasty indian restauraunts such as Ruby M's, Curry Mahal, Club 2000, Regency, Jaffalong etc...

I cant believe how busy the restaurant was especially as the food is appaulling..

Even I could cook better indian food and i know nothing about indian cuisine..

Never again!!!
