Went today for lunch, however I have found the quality of food somewhat diminished...I first started going to this restaurant two years ago, and always order the same...seafood salad. Two years ago, it was brimming full of flavour and seafood. Last year, less seafood, inauthentic flavour. Today - little seafoos, lots of salad and hardly any flavour. I shan't be coming back here any time soon...

You have to try their Chicken Pad Thai, since it is excellent! - I would say they make the best Pad Thai I have ever tried. Other than that you have a sizeable menu of great dishes to try and at good prices too.
They have a very friendly staff and the owner's are very nice. They make you feel welcome to be there. I particularly like the restaurant late afternoons on weekends when u can enjoy their (roof) 'conservatory' ambience if u get a seat under it.
Great location too - Exmouth market is lovely and I believe the church nearby is part of the historical trail.
Definitely worth a visit - u will be hooked!

Cheap and cheerful. Service very friendly and food was adequate but completely lacked any flavour. A classic example of dumbing down authentic Thai flavours in the hope of pleasing the masses when people really want a proper Thai food experience

Yum, Yum, YUM!
I have ordered both take-away and dined in the restaurant and have never had a better curry in my life! The green curry is my favourite.
The staff are attentive and very quick, but I just can't get past the food which is absolutely awesome.

The Pride is located on busy Exmouth Market, surrounded by 'heavyweights' like Moro. If you are looking for superb Thai curries --as good as any we have eaten in London--this is the place to come. The low prices are no reflection on the quality, they simply make the Pride excellent value.
We have eaten there on numerous occasions, and tried many of the dishes. The chicken satay starter is particularly good, with tasty, generous pieces of chicken. The red and green curries are done to perfection, as is the Malaysian laksa (which is utterly authentic, take it from this reviewer who is from Southeast Asia). The curries never feel too heavy or greasy, and the stir-fry dishes are light, and not oily. Portions are always generous.
The Pride is excellent for vegetarians. Not only are there many veggie dishes on the menu, they are also willing to adapt any of the other dishes for vegetarians. The service at this family-run restaurant is wonderful, and the atmosphere is cosy and homely. They also do take-away, and run an efficient home delivery service.
This is a gem just waiting to be discovered.
