Staff who are passionate about their culture and what they do turn this into an experience well above a normal night out. Brilliant food and wonderful, patient service makes this one of my favourite restaurants in all of London. Be sure to go on a Wednesday or Friday so you can try the Ethiopian sushi -- it's so delicious that I'm actually forced to use the word "delicious". Not sure what to have? Just ask the friendly hostess who will guide you through the whole experience. Don't miss the coffee ceremony at the end.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience. We too were a little perplexed by the building but found it to be such a warm, welcoming place with excellent quality food. Staff were very helpful and kind and the food was amazing. Definately going to bring more friends back. Lovely.

We had a quiet evening with plenty of variety to sample. And we loved the coffee too.

This was just great. I had some misgivings going upstairs in the community centre with my date but they soon evaporated. Lovely people, fantastic food, warm and cosy with a relaxed atmosphere. The two of us ate with relish for nearly two hours but could not finish the excellent nosh. Leg of lamb fit for an ancient king for my friend, vegan veggies to die for for us both, all served without cutlery on this huge pancake thing. All for 22 pounds including the drinks! Even if it were thrice the price I'd choose this place over a restaurant in Soho any time.

Fantastic restaurant despite the hidden and misterious location. You can tell that the food is prepared with care and love, using quality ingredients. The result is a great night out, exquisite dishes, pleasant environment with a super friendly and polite service.
