AGNI Indian Restaurant

Food at the restaurant is great, one of the better Indian restaurants in London comparable to the pricey ones with Michelin stars.
The restaurants location does not do it justice. If it was in Central London, would be full all the time.

Went to the restaurant recently with my wife. Have to say the food was one of the best Indian that we have had in London. Would put it just a notch below Tamarind, Benaras and Cinnamon club at a fraction of the price.
The decor of the restaurant is basic and could do with a bit of improvement. Service was very personal, attentive and polite.
Would highly recommend the restaurant wand will certainly be back soon.

This is most rubbish restaurant, I have ever seen. Me and my girl friend went their once. Staff is rude and their behaviour is insulting. Once of order taker had try to touch my girl friend, we left the restaurant on very next moment.
Donot go to this restaurant if you donot want to get insulted.

I've been to a lot of the Indian restaurants on King Street, and the food at Agni is probably the best of the bunch so far. The royal thali especially is great value with a variety of flavours - 3 different starters, meat dish, 2 vegetable dishes, dal and raita.
The restaurant itself is slightly lacking in atmosphere, especially upstairs, so make sure you sit downstairs unless it's really busy. Service is reasonable - nothing great, but no basis for complaints, and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of beers on offer - not just the standard Kingfisher and Cobra.

Agni is the real deal. I have been a regular diner since the restaurant opened nearly two years ago and the consistently high quality of the food accompanied by reasonable prices make it a regukar haunt. The Staff are friendly and the decor simple and unpretentious.
There are some excellent starters the pick of the buch being the salmon tikha and the calamari verpudu. The okra masala is a particular favourite of the wife and the fish curry is one of mine. The Nans are the best I have sampled and the kulfis a revelation, rose petal being my preferred choice. The Chilli ice cream and the beetroot are also intriguing if somewhat eclectic deserts.
It is well worth a visit and let me tell you once you have enjoyed the delights on offer you will be back again and again.

This place is superb only for its food. The waiters & the manager were clue less. Hardly interacted with us.
But the Food..... WOW!! thats all i can say. Its out of this world. I am a big fan of Biryanis. Tried to eat biryanis in best of indian restaurants. But Agni's biryani beats them all. The lamb just falls of the bone & the flavour is superb. Can't stop admiring the skill with which the chef has created this dish.
The thalis also are simply the best. My wife being a pure vegetarian, loved the satvic thali.
I recomend this restaurant to all my friends & to allthe readers. Try once for its food.

BRILLIENT!!
UNBEATABLE, UNBELIEVABLE.
Very good food and service. If you are looking for an Indian restaurant, Simply turn your head to Agni. I have been there 3-4 times and liked the food very much. Specialy the Royal Thali!
End it up with classic desserts and don't forget to try the PAN KULFI.

If one has to looks for a genuine authentic INDIAN restaurant, then look no where else, but head to AGNI. The FOOD is fantastic. I have been there for last year in December & since then visited it 5 times till now. Chef always surprised me with special tit bits. Then the body friendly food, is out of this world.
Service is very good. Could do a bit more on music choice. But over all, Great experience. I will visit this place many more times...

I have been to this restaurant so many times that the staff greet me almost by name! I absolutely love this place and would consider it one of my favourite restaurants. My boyfriend, an ex-chef, thinks it's also fantastic. The food is delicious and excellent value. The service is faultless and friendly. I throughly recommend their Thali's, lots of food for about £10. Their Mango Lassi is also delicious. The food tastes fresh and there seems to be no use of Gee or other fats, overall fresh, light and tasty. Go there!!!
