After going to Busaba for a lunch, I have found myself there 3 times in the last 3 weeks. Each time, I have ordered something different and have been exceedingly impressed.

I have been seated very quickly the waiting staff seem to come up with just the right suggestions when I don't know what to choose.

The Thai Calamari is absolutely outstanding and the main courses all pull up different surprises.

The Jungle Curry is not for the faint-hearted - very spicy and a formidable concoction of vegetables and poultry; the (strangely named) Muslim Beef Curry isn't particularly outstanding, tasting more like a standard Beef Curry for Brick Lane than Thai and the selection of Pad Thai's are very good. The food quality has always been good and the portions even better - very good value for money.

I have twice accompanied my meals with the Mango Lassi which has great flavour.

The vibe is always good and a great place to bring family and friends.

For people who are new to Thai, this is a great place to start and very affordable.

We have lots of experience with Thai food -- in Thailand and elsewhere -- and much on the menu of Busabu Eathai is pretty good by comparison. The seafood stir-fries are full of Asian flavor, as is the pumpkin curry. Pad Thai was one of the worst. Most of the staff is Polish, so don't try out your Thai on them -- and they're too rushed to notice anyway. Comparing cost to quality, I think Busabu Eathai does a creditable job, which is why I pop in so often.

I ate here on the 12th Dec, and I have to say I was completely disgusted with my food.

I order a Chicken Jungle curry only to be presented with little to no chicken but instead it was full of chicken skin.

My partner also had a chicken dish and his was fine, the taste was nothing special.Having a waitress that was not helpful only made the situation worse, I raised my concerns with the manager and I will not be returning ever to this restaurant

Great location near Selfridges, nice atmosphere with large informal tables and benches. Yes, the place looks good and the service is quick but the food is nothing to write home about. Cheap for central London but overpriced for what is basically a fancy noodle bar. The food is pretty bland and not at all like authentic Thai food. The best way of describing Busaba Eathai is style over substance.

This is a great place for a quick mid-shopping lunch. Funky decor, decent food and excellent value for money.

Exhausted after shopping in Selfridges, my boyfriend and I popped in, me with a bottle of water in hand that I hadn't quite finished. I sat down and finished the water and was screamed at by not only a waiter but his manager, when all I merely wanted to do was finish it, we promptly walked out. They made such an issue of the water it was ridiculous, I've never been in since.

The food is ok, but it's a bit of a chain now.

Fab food and excellent value - been a couple of times and staff always polite and efficient although don't seem to have staff allocated to specific tables which can be confusing so just grab any passing member of staff if you want something. Decor is great too!

This place is great value for money! The food is fresh, the drinks are amazing, and the ambience laidback. I love the decor in this place..Wooden benchs are the seating of choice, it's casual and simple...Usually quite crowded though so conversation isn't easy. The service is quick, the menu simple...My favourites include: Thai Calamari; Fried prawns in a mango-chilli-ginger dressing; and the mango lassi!! Definite must for a casual saturday lunch while out shopping...The location's great too for a mini-break before hitting the shops again.

We went out to celebrate a birthday last night. Nothing flash just a quick bite to eat before we went for a pint. We had a pretty average meal in here, most of the food was good but some things had to be returned which put a downer on the evening. One of us brought a small birthday cake along, the manager pointed out that they don't serve cake or bring it out for customers. Which was fine but when we lit the candles he came over and blew them out, then produced the bill asked us to pay and leave immediately. We were a bit shocked to say the least, didn't realise cakes were forbidden in this restaurant and felt really quite shocked to be treated in this manner. The staff are obviously pretty stressed in here. We have eaten here before and the food was a little below average and after this experience we won't be going back again. What a miserable manager!

We were really disapointed with our meals last night, we have eaten here before and it was pretty average, but a second time round we are sad to say it hasn't got any better. The restaurant has a nice interior, it's well designed but it's a shame it doesn't have good food and service to match. Really poor, won't be going again.
