Strada (Chiswick)

first of all i must say i have always liked visiting the strada restaurants, especially the camden branch where you see the chefs providing great food.
the other week i happened to be in the chiswick area, i decided to treat myself and my girlfriend to a quick brunch, first of all i must say the food standard is not the same as in camden, i was so appalled by the food in chiswick, i decided and vowed never to return there, the salad was not up to standard, the risotto verdure was not cooked enough, it lacked the tasted of true risotto, my girlfriends chicken milan was overcooked, in the end we left almost all the food, it was so unprofessional like the other restaurants.

Really good, been back twice in as many weeks. The pizza's are around the same price as Pizza Express or Ask but their bigger and tastier! Service was very friendly, the waiter made some good suggestions when we were ordering. Complimentary table water is a nice touch.

Very good indeed. Have been back several times, is suitable for both a romantic evening or a family meal. Elegant yet friendly atmosphere. Staff are attentive without being intrusive.
The pizzas are wonderful but there's plenty else on the menu - the risotto is always fabulous. Wine is pleasing too.
My only gripe is that the smoking area is cold, which has stopped me from going more often.
