I went there few days ago. There wasn't enaugh staff and the poor waiter ho took my order was visibly under pressure. I've also notice that there is no bar and the waiters have to prepare all the others tables drinks and stay at the front door, all at the same time.
I had mushroom bruschetta as starter (it cost me more then £5 for a very small slice of bread). I've ordered a lemonade and a sparkly water but there wasn't left so I've asked for a glass of orange juice but they finished also the juices. Than I've asked for a coke and finally I had my drink, but without ice becouse there was't more.
As a main course I had buffala pizza and it was fine.
I had to pay the service charge becouse it was add at the bill without live me any option so I will not go at any strada restaurants any more.

Rude and lousy service, terribly uncomfy seating, tiny portion sizes... all in all a great time then! 2/10

I dropped into Strada for a quick lunch yesterday. I was dismayed as I entered to be caught in the cross-fire between two members of staff, both of whom ignored me. The manageress came to my rescue. I said I was in a hurry and knew what I wanted - could I place my order straightaway? The order was taken and served gracefully by a delightful waiter. The spinach and ricotta pasta was piping hot, delicious as ever and excellent value. There was no hanging around for the bill and all ended very well. You're crammed overly close to your neighbours in in this Strada but overhearing every word of my fellow-diners golfing holiday was a small price to pay for a very good, quick lunch.

I went there a few months ago and wasn't too impressed, but I think there's a new manager now because the service and the food I had last week were fantastic. I eat out about 4 times a week these days and I think that for a chain restaurant Strada Marylebone is superb.

I booked a dinner for 4 of us 2 weeks ago. This wasn't my first time in Strada, but everytime I go there however busy they are I feel welcomed. Food and service is always very good. I only wish they'd change those uconfortable chairs. The sofa next to the wall is always full... and if you want to eat you'll take any chair...

Regrettably, we had a bad experience here. They could not find our booking. The starters were OK but the specials were awful. The cod smelt of ammonia and it was served with lentils which were so overdone that they were pureed. The steak was cooked as requested but it was poor quality and tastless. It was also covered in a sauce which resembled that I used to get at school dinners i.e. from a packet. They also made a mistake with the bill.
The service on the whole was OK but the food was too bad. I would not recommend this. If you do go, I suggest you stick to dishes which are simple and easy such as pizza and pasta.
