YO! Sushi (Paddington)

When I approached the stand, I waited to be seated but after a minute of no attention from any of the staff, I sat down near the WHSmith side of the counter, all through this time and even after ordering some dishes, I was never offered a drink, water, tea or beer, nothing. I noticed that the party next to me also had to ask the waiter three times for beer.
On the counter, both soy sauce bottles nearest to me were empty and one of the wasabi dishes had been empty for so long the paste had changed colour and was going rock hard. I borrowed some from my neighbour. Presented on the belt was the usual 15 plates of some unwanted salad and a dozen or so prawn Nigiri's going round and around.
I've noticed at Paddington ordering food, be it hot or cold, takes forever, I ordered a hand roll that although very tasty took forever for the chefs to decided which one of them was going to do it, as it would interrupted their chatting. The waiting staff were surly and at the height of evening business, when 90% of the seats were full, at least three staff all took their break at the same time, including the Maitre'd scoffing the food with great gusto, to beat the customers to the best plates. When the queue went beyond 10 people, he hopped off his stool with a mouth full of food to serve the queue. Many of the staff have trouble with English and understanding what is being asked and I would have thought being in the service industry, this would be their top priority?
In summary, at Paddington the service is the worst thing, never attentive, erratic and always slow and begrudged. Secondly, is the choice, or lack of it of food plates; you feel compelled to eat the black plate of sashimi as that's all that is on offer out of the choice of salads. Never ask for hot food, you'll be there all night and you won't get any after 8pm anyway! As excuses are made why you can't order food.

I was recently at this branch of Yo! Sushi and was very disappointed. The staff never even acknowledged my existence which meant I couldn't have anything to drink other than the water that is on the counter. The buttons on the counter didn't work and no one ever walked around asking people if they were OK or wanted anything.
I had the grey plate with mixed sashimi and the snapper was not edible. I put it in my mouth and immediately spit it out because it was rancid and very fishy tasting. I tried to complain to one of the employees but his response was 'Where are You From"...not really relevant is it?
He never apologized for the food or offered to replace the fish. When I was paying the bill I let the cashier know about the bad experience I had and she didn't say a word. They obviously don't care about the quality of food or the customers at this Yo! Sushi. And to make matters worse, there are pigeons flying around the station and walking by the customer while I was eating. It's very unsantitary.
They were advertising the 50% off sale but they never put in writing nor tell the customers that they have to register with Yo! Sushi on-line and print out a voucher. This is blatant false & misleading advertising.
I will never go there again and I don't recommend it toothers.
