Boulevard Dining Room

Good pre-theatre meal. The service was attentive without being annoying. The 3 course menu had a good selection of dishes that complimented each other nicely.

Seems a shame about the previous reviewer. After having had a great meal at their sister restaurant in Covent Garden not so long ago - I thought it would be fun to try out the Soho place. Quite a different set up - I must say - different look, different feel - but really nice all the same - much more modern and ....dare I say it...trendy! But - in terms of quality of food and service - absolutely up there with their Covent Garden place - the staff were helpful and friendly and the food we had was delicious. I feel spoilt for choice now - not sure which to return to first!

The Soho t branch must be London's worst restaurant. Staff are unattentive, it is very expensive for what you get and when I sent back my cold food it was microwaved and presented 2 minutes later on a new plate.it is awful value for money. Avoid.

We ate at the dining room last night and it was great. Service was good and the Chateaubriand we had to share was I think the best piece of beef I have tasted here. Velvet on a plate! It was really refreshing to feel that it was money well spent.

A few friends and myself went to Boulevard last night after not been their in quite awhile. We found the service to be friendly and professional. The female server had us laughing all night. We loved he suggestions from the menu. Oh, and the cocktails were fantastic. Try the Passion Maretini. We were also thankful they got rid of the smoking in the dining area along with adding much better music than that boom boom boom music you hear in all the other places in Soho.

Went there tonight with 3 girlfriends on the set menu. The choice on there is very limited, but the portions are adequate and the quality is good. I really enjoyed the chocolate and fig torte, and the beef carpaccio was fresh. Nice low lights and discreet jazz music. Overall I would say it's good value for what you pay; good once but not exciting enough for me to go back too soon.

Recognise all the reviews below about this place except for the negative comments about the food , have a dinner 2 day a go and was just superb. Serius Italian cooking that different from the norm has create a quite foodie reputation for this Dining room Soho Spot. Nice atmosphere at night and the staff are helpful.

The smart,urban-chic decor and perfect executed Modern British cooking at this Brilliant newcomer to Soho are widely praised, and more so as price are low for this area, althogh a few cant see what the fuss is about, the consensus is overwhelming:will do well

Weent to Boulevard last night and had a fantastic time. We asked our waiter for some suggestions and he was absolutely correct on all of them. The oyster start was sweet, savory and amazing. We had the lamb and monkfish with curry. My companion and I were both skeptical about the monkfish and we were both fine to share the Chateaubraind for two (which I had on an early occasion and was delicious) but to the waiters credit, it was savory and gorgeous. Very nice vibe for a rainy Thursday and the wine was perfect. Good going guys.

went to the boulevard last night, what can i say but very very disappointing my guest had to send the soup back twice because it was not hot enough.

waited 25 minutes for our mains and when we did get them they were not what we ordered sent them back and waited even longer (maybe the kitchen was not firing on all cylinders that night) the guys at the boulevard have to lift there game.
