I agree.... Food is pre-cooked warmed up and served !!!!! Anyone that cannot tell the difference with this and freshly prepared has obviously never been out for a meal in their life.

Absolute rubbish and they have the cheek to ask for money for this....

Loved the food and great ambiance although could do with a wider desserts range but by far the best in service I have seen in a long time in London. Great staff polite, fast and most importantly good value for money!

Three of us ate here last night 16 June (just before seeing Steven Merchant in a nearby theatre) and we had a fine meal, I was concerned by previous reviews but the food was very tasty, freshly cooked good quality. We used the tastelondon card which saved £29 off the total bill leaving £50 for the three of us (incl £20 for Cobras) All in All a good place to eat. We would eat there again if in the area.

Had been to this restaurant for a meal with few of my friends on 10 may.

The food is pre cooked and just warmed before service. The chicken and meat used is as chewy as rubber and not at all with taste. The breads were disgusting.

It didnt have any taste. The cocktails we ordered were ready to serve ones.

The manager was the most terrible of all.The arrogance way of talking to customers show the quality at The bombay bicycle club. It was monday evening and we were at 8.15 in restaurant. Staff were moving around like headless chickens and none of them including manager knew anything about menu. We are from spain and we thought of giving a try but this is absolute rubbish.

Never again will visit such a disgusting restaurant where food is terrible and service is more than that. No doubt to previous comments that this is the worst I have ever experienced.

No recommendations for food as no one knew anything and plus a bill which is over expensive than a good restaurant.

Try some fish and chips but skip this restaurant unless you have someone to be disgusted.

This restaurant has experienced a spectacular fall from grace.

I could have identified their delicate Jailsamar or chilli lamb from any number of average high street curries or spotted the stylish simple design of the menus from the plethora glossy multi colored flyers produced by its competitors.

However, these excellent dishes have now been replaced by the same average, fayre which is available at a lower price in any high street curry house.

To add insult to injury, its take away menu now looks as if it was designed by the owner of a kebeb shop; exclamation marks and garish money off vouchers sit alongside a sheepish looking shilpa shetty.

I asked the very pleasant staff whether it had been sold, and after being told 'no', I had a look at BBClub's history online and discovered that having jogged along well for 20 years with a sale to clapham house and then on in 09 to gourmet restaurants, it has just been bought out of administration alongside tiffin by a consortium called v8 gourmet ltd, there is excited talk of rolling out new restaurants abroad - 'planet bollywood' anyone? and something on supermarket ready meals - shilpa shetty has reportedly purchased a 33% stake for £6m, she should be pictured with her fingers crossed !

I used to make the effort to drive a considerable distance to the BBClub Hampstead to pick up their outstanding food, and would have paid more for it, however, now that the accountants appear to be in charge of the cooking... today will sadly be my last trip.

Terrible in every respect. The portions were measly. The food was not spicy and cold. There was no attention to detail. The restaurant was completely empty (for very good reason it transpires). The service was matter of fact and without a smile - even had to ask for the service charge to be removed from the bill. Even with a Tastelondon 50% off card I felt ripped off; I can't imagine paying full price for a shocking experience.

NOT RECOMMENDED.

After a few good experiences with BBC I was hooked on a regular curry intake at least once a week. My distaste occurred after receiving a cold curry on 14th Feb, asking for a replacement and getting nothing but cold calls. More recently, March, I gave BBC one more chance of rectifying their previous failings but at one call got redirected to an 0845 number and once through to the next number had the phone put down on me. Don't be swayed by 'big name' non-celebrity endorsement for BBC, if anything it is seemingly a ruse for a poor food operation and dastardly customer service

This restaurant comes with a strong reputation, and fails to deliver on all counts.

The menu is interesting, but fairly limited. When the food arrived (and an elongated 40 mins between order and delivery was both unexplained and unappologetic) it was very average and tasted of being heated rather than freshly cooked. After the first couple of mouthfuls, the very small portion was less of an issue than the basic lack of culinary flair. In a final twist, our table were informed they did not have any Naan left (at 9:30 on a Thursday evening) at the time of service, rather than immediately after order.

There are far better Indian restaurants on almost every high street with lower prices and greater attention to service.
