I went to this restaurant with 3 other friends last Friday and was very disappointed. The staff were miserable as sin, the service was poor and very slow and it was very over priced for what we got. We had to wait ages between the starters and main course and when the main dishes came they were very small. We then had to wait yet again for our naan breads to arrive by which time my food was cold and one of my friends had practically finished his dinner. They also forgot my another friend's naan. Once we had finished the meal they brought the bill which was stupidly expensive! Overall I was very unhappy with the meal and will definitely not be going back to the Bombay Bicycle Club again.

I was invited to this restaurant two weeks ago by a supplier. I was a bit concerned, as Indian is definitely not my favourite, but not wanting to insult my host, I went along without suggesting a different place. I am very glad I did, as it has reversed my opinion of Indian food. We had some mixed starters and very tasty narn bread and pompadoms. My main course of slow cooked king prawns in a tomato based sauce was delicious. Missed out on dessert.

The restaurant was very quiet initially, as it was a Monday night, but then got quite busy around 9 pm. The food was very good, but the service at times extremely slow.

I really enjoyed my first visit at one of Bombay'srestaurants. Having always used their home-delivery service untill a few days ago, my boyfriend and I popped in for a quick meal on our way home from work.

Good food; we enjoyed the chef's specials, tandoori grill, garlic nann and a bottle of house red. Buzzing atmosphere in the restaurant which picked up rapidly after 8.00ish.

Money is well worth the atmosphere and the service.

as someone from an asian background i was VERY disappointed by this place. the best thing were the poppadoms and the wine list! the food is overpriced, portions small and inauthentic.

i shared the "mixed kebab" with my husband and was speechless by how awful they were. for the price it would not be too much to expect FRESH kebabs would it? instead we were given dry processed kebabs, probably microwaved and then stir-fried quickly in some onions in a pathetic attempt to fob them off as fresh. they cost almost £10 and reminded me of the frozen cheap kebabs i buy in my local asian shop for £1.99. SHOCKING! and to top it off they charged £2.50 for the chutneys!!!!!!!

then the mains arrived and, to be fair, they were more bearable then the starters. my chicken bhuna, although a small portion, was edible enough. my husband's chilli lamb was less impressive. small dry bits of lamb mixed in a pre-cooked sauce - not quite my mother's lamb curry!

a thorough let down altogether. if you are looking for proper, authentic indian food, steer well clear of this place. my favourite curry house in wembley is half the price and twice the quality!!

Fantastic meal...went there last night and yes, ok its a bit pricey but you are in the heart of the great and the good of West London...the food was devine, the service great and the atmosphere/decor of the restaurant made it a lovely dining experience. Thoroughly recommended.

Went for a Mothers Day lunch on Sunday and we all ordered from their Sunday Thali Menu. The food was good, if perhaps a little dry - however the service was very slow. I enjoyed the meal but not sure I'd visit again as it didn't really stand out from any other indian restaurant and was more expensive.

After what you might call a revamp of the Sunday Thali menu we decided to give it a go. Very impressed, definitely worth trying if you like a bit of everything

Truly the best indian dining experience i have ever had! My boyfriend and i were treated like royalty from the moment we entered to the time we left, brilliant prawn puree as a starter and the monk fish as a main was exceptional. my boyfriend had the barra channa which i sampled and simply melted in my mouth. It was quite busy on the night we went and understandable the waiters were rushed off there feet but never failed to deliver a speedy and efficient service. i would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Also went in with the caution of past reviews, as well on a Sunday night (we phoned ahead to make sure we weren't subject to a buffet only). The service was friendly although not speedy, the food was exquisite, not your traditional English curry house. The staff were very accomodating & made paid extra care to my wife who has a peanut allergy.

We made it out of there with a £75 tab & walked out very satisfied both with the flavours & serving sizes.

We'll return for sure
