Very good pub with excellent beer, but the food and service are poor. Good place to drink but eat elsewhere, somewhere that knows how to cook.

The cheekiest pint i ever had. I mean im not saying the food was great, but there was two for seven pounds, i brought out £10 and still had money for a cheeky one after. As for the young bantams in there, they were busy engaging in a game of monopoly, silent as a bear.

for sunday lunch, it's dreadful, a sloaney sunday lunch factory with collar-up rahs guffawing loudly and rude brats legging it around.
went yesterday for a mate's birthday.
our 3pm table wasn't available because some sloanes wouldn't move.
we eventually were served our main course by 5.30pm. it was cold and generic.
we had high hopes, it looks lovely, and is close by.
but a waste of money, time and a burthday.

Went for Sunday Lunch......Will never go back.......Terrible service, terrible food(when it EVENTUALLY came),the roast was ridiculously priced,over-cooked(except for the lamb shank which was nearly raw)tiny portion of meat and a rock hard yorksire pudding.....Surley waitresses......They try to cramb too many people in with too few people serving......Sunday lunches are meant to be laid back affairs-agreed......

Went to the County Arms today for lunch (Sunday) and have been before but will NEVER go back again. After two hours of waiting we still hadn't received our main course, so we just got up and walked out.
For starters we ordered 'a pint of prawns' x 3 but only one portion was brought out. After ten minutes the we found the guy who had taken our order and he said it was his mistake and would tell the chef. He then came back out and said that our order had gone to the back of the queue, but he would try and hurry it up.....!!!
How difficult can it be to chuck some unpeeled prawns in a pint glass and bring them out?
After half an hour the 2 other 'pints of prawns' arrived, which we ate, but then after waiting for another hour and fifteen minutes for our main courses (which were salads...), we thought we might not get served before we had to go back to work on Monday morning and walked out!
Would definitely NOT recommend this place.

Visited the County on Sat night with my family for a bite to eat. When we arrived I was quite surprised to find a live DJ playing. This however did not end up being a negative as it is a lounge evening they do every Sat and the music was very cool and very un-obtrusive. For the meal I had soup, sea bass and cheese and bisc for afters. The soup (tomato, chili and cafia lime was amazing the seabass was cooked well and the cheese was ok but made fantastic with the small bottle of tawny port we had to help it down.
All in all we had a fantastic night and would be happy to recomend it to anyone.

Having lived not far away from this pub for sometime it's a welcome change to what it was. Great place to meet, very welcoming and relaxing. The staff are very friendly and want to ensure all is good. Having been there a number of times and not eaten we decided to do so and we were a little disappointed with one dish a steak and ale pie. The steak used was not good at all and was more like shoe leather. Have to say it has not enticed us back to eat there again. It does have a fantastic beer garden for the warmer months.

I visited the County last night for a meal with friends last night. Wow what a change!!!! I used to live in Wandsworth a few years back and I cannot believe the transformation. What was once a screws pub where you felt out of place, is now a beautiful, welcoming, warm pub. The atmosphere was buzzing (and yes it was a Monday night!!), the beer was ever flowing and the food was of the highest quality, my choice of fillet steak was to die for. The staff could not do enough to help and we will definately be coming back for more of the same.

Very nice. What a suprise when you walk through the door. Nice and modern but still full of charecter. The beer was a bit expensive but I found the food very reasonable. The restaurant bit was also very nice with a roaring wood fire and lots of candles. I had the gormet burger which came with huge fat chips (very nice). Service was good too.

Not bad food, friendly staff and a great outdoor grill, unfortunately the grill closes around 2 on a sunday which is a little disapointing.
The main dining area is open and spacious, modern without being clinical, and is a no smoking area (nice). This and the warm reception make it very family friendly, kids welcome.
Having tried most things on the menu, my wife and I keep getting drawn back to the fish and chips, although there is more posh nosh available if you want (whole crab salad is good and resonably priced).
