your comments review this restaurant and win a bottle of champagne

I went back again after 14 months to see how it was.

The portions were a little larger, perhaps they listened to my previous comments?

The food was good, but perhaps not as good as it was a year ago? The Sag ghost was very oily and the mince in the keema nan was more like sausage meat then the more usual spicy lean mince.

The portions seemed larger and now can be considered about average, The service, still good, was not quite as professional as before.

Still a nice place with good service and nice food but so dissapointing that there were only four people eating there on a Thursday. The bill for two with no wine and just one small beer was about £22 each which was reasonable for the quality but not such good value if one puts a significant value on the ambiance which was marred by so few eating there.

Very fair Indian restaurant at the top of Child's Hill. Pleasant service and ambience. Food good but not great value as it's a little more expensive than the quality would suggest. A very standard menu. There's not a wealth of Indian restaurants in this area.

After reading others comments we went there tonight.

The starters are just that, tasty but small.

Main dishes were freshly cooked with real ingredients and the Sag Ghost was the best we have ever had.

The dishes are all very good but slightly on the smaller side.

The prices are about 40% more then the average Indian but the quality is far better and worth the extra.

Its a bit upmarket and appeals to the well dressed older market, few under 30s there. Perhaps some local minor celebs at weekends?
