I've been bringing friends and colleagues here for many years, long before the make-over. Sadly the sweet old lady has retired but her staff have done her proud by carrying on the same high standards. Decor looks rich despite not being all that expensive, food superb and very reasonable, and Sakun avoids one of my pet peeves - loud music. Admittedly what they do play is often not Thai, but it's quiet enough you can block it out. I often have red or green curry with mixed veggies - a great assortment. Tofu one is great too. as are the meat dishes. They have coconut fried rice as well as other flavours such as lemon. Everybody I've eaten with has loved it. We need more quiet, non-chain restaurants.

I chose this restaurant for my boyfriend's birthday dinner using London-Eating so I decided to share my experience back. We went there last Wednesday.
Love Thai food and one served at the restaurant was OK but no wow! Portions of main dishes were not too big which resulted in me feeling a bit hungry later on (imagine my boyfriend then). The most disappointing was service - we waited 1 HOUR!!! for a main. The waitress apologised for the wait saying that they had orders from the big table - fair enough, but it felt like the service didn't treat all customers equally, which is always shame. In my opinion, customer is a customer, and they should be looked after no matter how much they spend or how long they stay. We decided never come back to this restaurant after all as it's not worth our time and our money.

Ate there last night, and was very impressed. Lovely food made with good quality ingredients, served quickly and smartly, a nice wine list, cute decor (including what appeared to be a genuine Buddhist shrine), and a bill that wasn't outrageous - £80 for 4 mains, two bottles of wine, and extra rice and noodles. Lovely.
