I went for my birthday, the food was fantastic but my guests who wanted the buffet meal had to sit on another table and if you do not eat all the four dishes ordered you are not entittled to any more food, so be careful in wait you order......the service was rubbish. however I will not be taking anymore groups of people their but will go and have the buffet.....

I went to Toko on Friday with a friend who lives in the area and was dubious at first at the fact that it was advertised as Chinese/Japanese food.
However we were pleasantly surprised at just how good the food was, having chosen a variety of both Chinese and Japanese dishes. I was especially pleased with the Salmon sashimi. It was fresh, plentiful, and great value for money, unlike so many Central London sushi haunts who tend to overcharge whilst consistently reducing their portion sizes. Toko is great value for money and I will endeavour to visit there at least once a month, despite it being a good 45 minute journey from home. Well worth it. The service was excellent too.
