If I toke the reviews seriously I would never have tried this place. I'm so glad I did! I had the perfect night there this past weekend. The service was personal and effective, the owner goes to everyone's table to check if things are ok and will hear any critisism.

The food was AMAZING...perfect portions. The atmosphere was also perfect...live jazz music and intimate light.

Overall a 9.5 out of 10!

have to echo sentiments of an earlier reviewer. This is a place with much going for it but let's itself down. Great styling but gormless service - there couldn't have been more than 15 dining this particular lunchtime and the waiting staff were clearly awkward in their roles ...and miserable. As for food, we chose off the set menu - great starter (a mussel soup with chestnut puree), shocking main (salt cod risotto). My friend managed a "that was ok" shrug at the end. And £4 for an orange juice!
