Excellent food and excellent service. I have no complaints. In fact, it was one of the best Thai I've had!

Went there with my fiancé and parents for what was hoped to be a special birthday dinner!
It didn't bode well when my fiancé phoned to book and asked if they had any special desserts or could do anything for a birthday and they said 'no'!
The place was empty except for one other table so you can imagine the atmosphere wasn't great! We were shown to a table by the window. Unusually the staff were not Thai so we didn't get the usual sawadee greeting! They were playing Thai pop music. The interior decor was ok - the bar was designed like a mock beach bar and was quite good.
We were given the menu and then things went down hill.
Menu - my parents are vegetarian so decided to go with the vegetarian set menu. However, to be sure they asked the waitress to confirm no fish paste in the curries. To our amazement she returned and said that both curries in the 'vegetarian' menu had fish paste. I said that this was very misleading and they needed to either change the menu or the food contents (there are curry pastes without fish paste easily available).
So my parents had to eat a tofu noodle dish - this was literally the only option!
Our food was very disappointing! The satay chicken tasted very odd, the weeping tiger beef had the wrong sauce and the green chicken curry was watery and
tasteless.
The bill was almost 100 for the four of us including wine. I think this is daylight robbery for what we received in return!
It is extremely sad as we have recently moved to royal docks and it would be great to have a good Thai here! This certainly isn't good and we won't be returning! The food reminded me of the worst china town style buffet with service similarly china town style! Thai food and service is usually a cut above from that in Chinese restaurants so this was very disappointing, especially for a special occasion.
I hope a good Thai opens here soon!

Terrible service. We waited nearly two hours for our meal and then found that they had only just started cooking our main course. My wife was heavily pregnant and could not sit in the chairs for that long. It was also meant to be her birthday dinner! And this was made clear to them at the time of booking.
In the end my wife decided enough was enough and we said we wanted to cancel the meal and pay for the drinks. They didn't even offer to waive the cost of the drinks or anything so we ended up forking out £20 without getting a meal.

My husband and I went to Nakhon Thai (Waterfront) on Saturday afternoon, to celebrate our 2nd annivery. The view from the restaurant is excellent, thansk to the location it's situated by the riverside and the weather was sunny and beautiful.
It was a very quite Saturday afternoon for the restaurant there was only two tables (one is ours, and the other one outside the restaurant). Service was not as good as i expected, but the foods were excellent.
Will definitely revisit the place. this restaurant is a great place for celebrations.
