The Bramley Room

Went to The Bramley Room for my work Christmas do and what a complete disaster. The manager was very nice when we arrived and even offered us free wine. However, after having to wait nearly an hour and a half for our starter, when we started complaining he got really nasty and unpleasant. We didn't get our main course until 10pm and even then the vegetarian meal turned up 20 minutes later! We left early after the manager got even ruder, without having our paid for dessert and the entertainment hadn't even started - it was 11.20pm by then. I will never set foot in this restaurant again.

Most Awful place, we went there for Xmas work dinner and left early due to disappointing food, service and very rude manager. No entertainment up yo yhr timr we left. Would never go here again unless it was under new management and had a makeover, very sorry that we paid £30.00 a head.

The Bramley Rooms webpage dos not have accurate information and there was no sight of any Turkey or Roast Beef dinners or even a 3 course meal which they claim to offer. AVOID THIS PLACE.

I was at the Bramley Rooms on Friday 17th Dec for our work Xmas outing. It was hugely disappointing. The food was really bad but the worst part was, we waited nearly two hours between our starter and our main course. When we asked staff about this they had no response. As time went on we approached the manager who was unhelpful, rude and abusive. I will never return and would strongly advise others not to waste their money.

The worst restaurantt/entertainment venue I've ever been too. Please avoid like the plague! We had our Christmas work do there on Fri (17th Dec 2010) and the food, wine and service were awful. No expense was spared on the tiny thin napkins and Cristmas crackers! The staff were exceedingly rude and there was an unfriendly atmosphere. The door was left open all night, and as we were sat close to the door, and it was minus 5 degrees, that did not add to our enjoyment. The entertainment didn't start while we were there (we left in disgust at 11pm), so can't comment on this aspect.

This venue were clearly only interested in making as much money as possible by offering as little as possible.

Came to this 'restaurant' on fri 4th Dec for a Xmas night out,the food was awful,the service non existent,the 'entertainment' consisted of the waiters leaping around the floor and the so called belly dancer was about 5 stone, wearing skinny jeans!! All this for £30 a head without wine.My advice would be to go elsewhere.

would like to say a few words about the bramley rooms went there new years eve paid £60 a head for a 5 course meal and all drinks inc the food was spot on the drinks never stopped flowing the manager and all the staff very nice had a wicked evening and will be back next year if you do the same deal the only thing you have to do is plz stay open later then 1am on new years eve thats my only moan happy new year

Im sure that people who gave 10 out of 10 for this restaurant have never been to a good place in their lives. I went last Saturday and It was the WORST place ever. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Went to celebrate xmas with 6 friends. I went there 5 years ago when it was Sirtaki and it was great. What a change! We sat by the door so it was freezing, no glasses offered for bottled beer. Food was poor quality for the price (£30) but then one would expect a good show. This was not the case. Waiters rushed you to eat as they have to finish serving before they 'perform' the show and do the DJ! We were told to arrive 7.30-8pm and then made to eat fast to have to wait till 10.45pm for the show to start. The show is a joke! The poor waiters are made to dance and entertain, but the big surprise is the belly dancer. Where did she train? An absolute disaster, I could do it better! I would not recommend this place to anybody, expensive for the quality of the food and ridiculous for the show offered.

bramley rooms i came thee last night tridaythe 4th of dec we booked a table of 4 where was told by the manager on the phone that the food orders had to be in 4 days in advance at first i thought 4 days but now i have been it makes sence they knew what we were going to eat the food came out quick it was spot on by the way everyone finished eating early and the show was great the dancers were amazing the bramley rooms was rocking thanks for a great night did not want 1am to arrive and all the staff were rally nice once again for a wicked night see you again vey soon see you yew years eve @£60 a head 5 course meal all drinks inc
