Dreadfull. The staff barely spoke English, the portions were small, and the food itself just about average, plus the orders for each coarse were confused. No apologies. The one redeeming feature being the river view.

I've just had a wonderful night at Thaisquare restaurant at Putney bridge. The food is lovely and the staffs here are very friendly. I was serviced with smile all the time. I'd also got the table by the window. The view by the river is magnificent and made me enjoy the night so much. I'll come back again for sure. (May be friday or saturday night so i can go to dance in the bar later on)

I went here yesterday, I was really impressed with the service and the food was excellent and not bad value in my opinion - well cooked and very well presented. The wine was excellent and not overpriced considering the setting, view and location. I would allow £35 per head for starter, mains, wine and service. A good restaurant, good atmosphere and fair pricing - for London. I would certainly go back.

Booked tickets for NYE and found the whole experience dreadful. Our £25 tickets gave us access to a full to the brim bar venue, slow, poor and inefficient service, 30 min queues for toilets, of which only 2 out of the 3 were working, outdated and badly mixed music, a non existent dance floor space due to excessive no of people, and shabby, badly maintained decor. It’s clear that the bar was more concerned about making money then giving its customers a decent NYE send off. For an added £35 we could have dined beforehand, however given the feedback from friends, I’m glad we didn’t. Their orders were messed up, they had to wait 40 mins between one course, they found the quality of the food to be very low and the waiters / waitresses barely spoke English. I’ve later learnt that other, more superior bars in London where charging £15 - £20 entry with an added free glass of Champagne! Based on my experiences, I’m afraid I really can’t recommend anything about this venue to anyone!

Great location, reasonable quality food, overly high prices, appalling service. Other reviewers are not exaggerating about the rudeness of the staff - they seemed to me to be annoyed by our very existence. Our request for a window seat was flatly refused (although most window seats then stood empty for the entire time we were there). The food itself was your basic, bog-standard Thai fare at twice the normal price. Not recommended.

We went on Saturday night and are definitely not intending to go again. I should have known when I arrived and the downstairs bar was so packed it was like entering a night club. Do not go on a Saturday night unless you want to eat your food in a club-like atmosphere with thumping music from the bar downstairs making normal conversation very difficult. To add insult to injury, at about 10.30 the waiters brought out some cymbals, turned the music up a notch and put on an embarrassing 'Thai' dancing show. I avoid restaurants on holiday with this sort of touristy display but would definitely not expect to find it in Putney. On the plus side the food was OK, although the menu was slightly unimaginative. Perhaps it's better during the week?
