Awfu, awful, awful! The food here is not good - the meze is OK to start (but then that is difficult to mess up), but the main courses are completely tasteless. When we complained the owner did not take on board our comments at all. They also have a motley crew of "musicians" who come in and play very loud muzak right by your table and ask for money. Not a good experience! If you want Turkish, go to Tas!

The food here is simple and freshly cooked, though nothing special. The house wines are good and very good value.

What makes it special is the lovely lady who runs the place: she is so charming and helpful and remembers regulars and rushes around keeping things moving smoothly.

It's a very big place and I think it will find it hard to succeed with all the competition in Battersea, but give it a try because they really make you feel welcome, and that is so important.

Having been here a couple of times I find some of the reviews poles apart from my completely positive experiences!

Ergen's offers a very cheap'n'cheerful kebab-on-a-plate basically. The quality of the meats, breads and salads is always high and cooked to perfection. The service always very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The atmosphere is very relaxing and utterly unpretentious.

If you want 5* service and food then go and pay for it, if you just want simple and authentic turkish food and a good evening at a small cost then Ergen's is perfect.

I unfortunately suffered one of the worst dining experiences of my life at this restaurant. Wrong food, undercooked food, overcooked food, badly prepared food, terrible service - you name it, this place had it all. There's a lot of competition around Battersea Rise so don't go anywhere near this place.

I was very impressed by this restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding.There was also a very relaxing atmosphere. It was nice to have something different from the usual Italian, Indian etc etc.

This is one of the best restaursnt that I've been to. The food was apsolutely amazing - very delicious and different. The staff very friendly. They knew everything we asked (and we needed special advise because my friend is on special diet). The ambient is very pleasant. I would deffinetly reccomend the place.

Not impressed and would not go back. I can't think of anything that was good - the food was tasteless and unappealing and the wine was like vinegar. Sorry no positives!
