we want to thank you very much for a wonderful evening last night, it is fantastic atmosphere, very beautiful place it is like some where in the Middle East, the food was Fantastic it is heavenly food, your Lebanese wine was superb the taste and the colour excellent.

just to say we really had a awesome time, the staff there very friendly too.

we would come again and we will invite all our friends too, why should we cook at home when we have a place like this at our door step.

we can not believe it that we found you.

this lebanese restaurant has a wonderfully warm dicor in the form of rich orange walls,soft,romantic,lighting and a sea of cushions along the banquet style siting for maximum comfort.fantastic restaurant and luckely for me very local.

fantastic food especially the marinated grill bonless chiken,the grill seabass the sausages are particularly good.the menu is ideal for sharing,so a good place to go with group of friends.

the family how run the restaurant are very friendly indeed and help give cedar a great atmosphere,a truly sepcial evening to be repeated regulary.

Decided to go to Cedar on the strength of previous reviews. Simple decor, staff friendly and attentive., although not much atmosphere. Bypassing the starters, my partner and I headed straight for the mixed grill main course each. Big Mistake! 3 tiny mixed meat kebabs arrived looking very unappetizing in the middle of a huge plate and garnished with a spoonful of raw onion and half a tomato. What a let down! The food actually tasted better than it looked but at £12.00 a main course you'd be better to stick to ordering lots of starters or side dishes. We left hungry and out of pocket. I'll be sure to look for a better Lebanese restaurant in the same area.

Once again this time of year to think CHRISTMAS PARTY, last year was a fantastic party at Cedar, food kept coming until we were full my colleagues could not believe how much we ate and the bill was only £16 per person, of-course plus drinks but were could we have found similar place, also fantastic taste of freshly cooked food.

gess what!!! YES!!!!! we have just managed to book again this year for a party of thirty people don't tel anybody they may come and eat all the food, ! £16 per pearson still the same price as last year. when we came in the shop we thought that they will not have us again.

We've been to Cedar numerous times since we discovered this one year ago. The food is simply brilliant and the service is very warm and friendly. We are greeted like family friend whenever we go. As far as food goes, this is one of the best Lebanese food I've had in London. All the mezze are great. The grilled dishes, often dry and tasteless in lesser restaurants, are moist and tasty. The all Labanese wine list is reasonably priced and very good too.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Excellent value too - just please don't put up the prices too quickly!

I've been about 6 times over the past 18 months. Lovely decor, very good atmosphere, a good place for a lingering meal (unlike a previous reviewer, I've never been asked to vacate the table.) I've never actually had a main course here: I've always been with a partner and we've shared a number of starters: Armenian sausages, feta salad (one of the best in town), spicey potatoes, haloumi bread... Great selection and all delicious. I've found that about 6 starters is ample between 2 people. I must say I don't rate Lebanese wine highly. The rose is acceptable, but I find the reds too harsh. Overall I think this is a great little restaurant - a good place for a cozy and intimate dinner date (if you ignore the fact that Merton High Street isn't at all romantic!)

i've tried many lebanese restaurant around london but i found cedar the best.the food was amazing,tasty and fresh

the service was attentive and the staff very kind and helpful.i often go to cedar from far away to enjoy with my girl friend the romantic atmosphere.so why you don't go try it.

We have visited Cedar on numerous occasions but each have been disappointing! We have visited others and I can tell you that this is NOT genuine, good, Lebanese food! The food was OK but the service was average. We were asked on all occasions to leave our table by a specific time (even when we were still eating our meal!) There is a better option down the road!

This is a fantastic place - have to agree with all the comments below, but if you fancy something different try a Shesha (smokeing water pipe) to help settle the stomach after a great meal!

Service is excellent and has a great vibe, everyone I've taken has loved it

Cedar is one of the greatest restaurant I've been! The Food is very nice and taste.The place is quite confortable and the service is great! The waitress was very kind and demonstrated attention all the time!I definetely recommend this restaurant!
