Years ago I had a rich Lebanese boyfriend who took me to all the best Lebanese restaurants in the West End and Knightsbridge: these days he should have gone to Cedars Lebanese Restaurant in South Wimbledon. The food is exquisite, beautifully presented and cooked to perfection with FRESH ingredients. The staff are friendly and passionate about their restaurant. What a wonderful find!

We have just had a fantastic and enjoyable evening at the Cedar Restaurant Wimbledon. The food was out of this world. The Lebanese Ksara wine was really great. Very friendly staff. Good value for money.

They also provide home delivery.

I used to worry when I took my wife for lunch and the restaurant was empty. Now I think it is a blessing in disguise as you get personal attention and good service. And you know it is freshly prepared. Brilliant food, great choilled out hosts and a place I will return to. Even though the restaurant was not full, it was pleasant and relaxing and you didn't feel awkward. Great place, fantastic food. The tabouleh was crisp and refreshing and the coffee had a lovely aromatic blend. The meat dishes were succulent, not overly dry and just the right size. Yummy..

Excellent food, great service,as each dish was placed on the table you were told what it was, which is helpful if you are not familiar with all the dishes. The staff were polite and friendly.A very enjoyable meal and we will definitely go again.

Went to Cedar last night with my family. We love Lebanese food as it's healthy and delicious, and we wanted to try another one, instead of always going to the same place.

I am so glad we did. The food was absolutely gorgeous and, in my opinion, a lot better than the other two Lebanese in Wimbledon.

It is a small, family run restaurant where everything is freshly made. The moutabal (baba ganoush) was one of the best I have had and, I don't normally like falafels as I find them a bit dry and heavy, the ones at Cedar were lovely, moist and light.

If you like Lebanese food, go to Cedar.

We've been using Cedar now for many, many years. So we're pretty biased really about its qualities. Read on if you like - but if not I'll just note "try it, you'll love it!" For those who are of stronger disposition, this review becomes more effusive. Cedra is probably the best Lebanese restaurant t we've experienced. Elias and his team make sure that the food is just right; a mixture of those delightfuly sharp tastes so characteristic of good quality Lebanese food and the softer tastes of the meats and fish. Service is always friendly and quick, especially with the starter dishes.

We regulary have three starters each then add at least one of the sausage dishes and just eat those; good value there.

The wines are nearly all Lebanese; rose in particular offsets the food so well.

Give it a try - you'll be pleased. Ignore the single unwarranted negative review on here. A jealous rival??

I have been going to Cedar for so many years now I feel really at home there. It will always be my favourite restaurant and even though I have moved to Epsom I still return as many times as possible. The hot hummus and tabouleh are to die for. If you are ever in Wimbledon please go to this restaurant!!
