I went there last night with my girl. The food was really good and tasty!

both of us tried some traditional Greek plates such as lamb in lemon and beef!

I would strongly recommend it!

I went to my cousins birthday yesterday and had a very disappointing experience. This restaurant is not trained and equipped to host large groups (15 people). The evening was such a disaster I don't even know where to begin. Some of the starters didn't arrive with the rest and turned up with the mains. The sides arrived 20 mins before the mains and some of the mains arrived after everyone had finished eating! All that could be offered to us was that the service charge was removed from the bill and we didn't pay for the food we sent back. The bill still came up to just under £300 and that's with only 1 bottle of wine, half a carafe and 3 bottles of beer. Everyone else ordered water! My poor cousin was so upset by it all she insisted on paying most of the ridiculous bill!

Me and my girlfriend went to this restaurant for a birthday celebration. We are both Greeks loving high quality food.

If you are really interested in high quality food you would rather choose another restaurant.

The chicken souvlaki was awful. It was tough, salty and also expensive for such a small dish. The lamb with pastry and safran was utterly disgusting, it's really a shame to serve such a dish.

The only this that was good was the Greek salad, but again its an easy dish to make any mistake.

As far as the service is concerned we both felt uncomfortable, especially with the arrogant attitude of the waitress.

There are really amateurs, please DO NOT waste your money and time.

My wife and I were visiting London for the first time and couldn't decide where to eat. Staying near Earls Court and wanting to walk to the restaurant we came across As Greek As It Gets. It was a Tuesday and I guess slow night so there was no waiting. The owner, Dimitri, met us at the door. Upon introduction he took particular interest in making our dining experience memorable. With limited knowledge of Greek cuisine, he took the time to explain everything on the menu...including origins of each food and recommendations. Needless to say everything was delicious. After dinner we talked about our Greek and American cultures. Obviously proud of his Greek heritage and food, Dimitri ordered our waiter to bring out samples of cheeses, desserts, drinks, and house specialty "Loukanika me verikoka & meli" - sausages w/apricot & honey...on the house. Seemingly three hours later we finally left. Thank goodness we walked because it gave us an opportunity walked off all the food. Our dinner here was definitely one of the highlights of our trip...and a must stop on our return trip. Thanks for everything Dimitri!!!!
