Went here with a group of friends for dinner after shopping - amazing Lebanese food, best Shawarma I have had in London. Friendly atmosphere, just want you need after a hard day shopping!

Very and very disappointing! This is as far from the true Lebanese cuisine as it can get!

As much as I love Lebanese food, this was not a pleasant experience.

After a hard days shopping on Oxford Street I was walking back to my office craving Lebanese food, I could not see a single Lebanese food stall in sight until, like a mirage in a desert I saw…. Adonis.

O what a sight! My eyes gleamed with delight and I grew hungrier when I saw the very reasonable prices.

Alas the truth is in the taste I hear you say… well the food did not disappoint.

I started with spinach and halloumi cheese pastries and must admit my eyes were hungrier than my stomach – (I ordered 2 sandwiches!) I had one to go and was happy for another day thereafter. Oooh and the managers specially own made garlic sauce lingered for an extra day after that ;o)

A really lovely place, with great, friendly and welcoming service. A real joy to eat at, with the aura of a genuine Lebanese cafe. Fantastic food too...

I thought Adonis was relaxed and warm and lovely. The coriander potatoes and bakhlava were very nice indeed. No loud music or background noise; a good place to chat with friends.

Adonis may have been an extremely attractive figure in greek mythology, but this ones its definately not! The food served here is average, nothing special. However, they do some nice starters e.g. hummus, kibbeh etc

The place is nice and quiet, but unfortunately the same can be said for the service!

Also there is no shisha, they are simply on display!
