Isola Bella Cafe

I think the place is great. Food is delicious. Have been there many times. But something has gone wrong this time: fish was obviously re-heated and my favourite mash potato I come for to isola bella was dry and reheated. It was such a disappointment. I ate the food, thinking that maybe I should not say anything because I love the place and it has been perfect. Why would cafe would ruin its good name for £18 pounds?!

But a waitress noticed that I was not impressed. I felt like opening my heart to her. Message was passed to a senior waitress and she gave me a discount of £2.50, which was the service charge. Why would serving staff should be responsible for chef's or boss' dishonesty? So I left £2.50 on the side for service. I'm not intending to go back there. Shame, because I loved that cafe!

Chaos reigned at your restaurant in Golders Green Rd last night BUT service was very good, waitresses delightful & smiling and food nicely presented and delicious, our grandchildren really loved the desserts.

Go nowhere near the 'sushi', but the Thai and Israeli style dishes are fantastic. The portions are enormous... Even better are the desserts - do not leave without trying the chocolate trio cake.

A huge variety of delicious vegetarian and fish dishes. Service could be a little faster and a smile always helps. Portions are large - you won't go hungry.
