Just ventured out to the area and Yuzu for the first time with my girlfriend despite the service reviews we figured to give it a whirl since the food ratings were excellent. To be honest we found nothing displeasing about the service. Though the intial approach by the staff could be considered slow we found it refreshing since we were basking in each others' company and the general atmosphere. The food was as mentioned...very nice! I can not speak for those who found the service bad, but we had a wonderful experience and will definitely visit again. I suggest that people need to slow their roll and enjoy the evening with their partners, friends, or whomever they maybe out with.

We went there on Sunday evening. Waitress seemed to be very rude. Did not make us feel comfortable and welcomed at all !!! Food though - FAB!!! But i would never recommend this place for a special occasion. We where too stressed about the service that could not really enjoy the wonderfull taste of the food. Will we come again? possible

I'm very disappointed by the new manager, I have been to this restaurant for a long time as the food and the atmosphere were very good. But last week-end we didn't even have a hello from the manager and we suffered a nasty look from him all the evening long....so Yuzu is not what it was before!!!

Have now been to this restaurant twice and like the others was initially disappointed by the service. I have to put everyone straight on this one having been back and having had the whole thing explained to me. The Japanese don't have 'starters' followed by 'main courses' followed by desserts. They have lots of dishes for sharing and basically as the food is so fresh the food arrives as it is freshly prepared and ready. If you take this into account and just order a selection of what everyone would like to share, it works perfectly well and the service was excellent and not even slow. The food is great so please bear in mind their culture is very different from ours and surely this just adds to the charm.

Yuzu has created comtemporary variations on traditional sushi dishes. The sushi tastes great and is well presented. The atmosphere is surprisingly chic for this part of the world, making the restaurant equaly suitable for a romantic meal as an evening out with friends. As other people here have noted, the service can be a tad rude.

I honestly dont think i need to add anything, every one seams to know this little restaurant truly well. I guess the secret is, dont eat there, and when you think you might want to eat order 1 hour and a half before hand. The annoying thing is that the food, when it arrives, is very good. I once ordered when it first opened, it took 2 hours for the food to arrive. After i complained stressfully i was promised a £25 discount of my next order, and it was granted! If you like to kick up a fuss this is the place for you.

We are sushi fanatics and this restaurant really lives up to our standards. Original, super fresh sushi. A surprisingly fashionable restaurant , full of BOBO's , especially in this part of town. Service was OK . Pricey but worth it.

We gave up on Yuzu for all the reasons listed below, but the sushi and the rolls are so good (the spiced tuna with spring onion, and the prawn tempura with asparagus rolls are sooooo amazing) that we decided to try the home delivery instead. if you don't mind waiting an hour, the food is reasonably priced and a great treat and it saves you suffering the ignominy of waiting forever to be fed in a space that is not overly welcoming.

The great thing about Yuzu is that you can sit down at five o'clock for your meal (when you are not even hungry) and by the time it comes to your table at 7.30, you have build up a nice appetite. The manager needs a personality transplant but the waitresses are mostly gorgeous.

The food is absolutely wonderful, really fresh and simply melts in the mouth - totally fab, the wine list is pretty decent too. However, the service needs huge attention, very slow and not particularly friendly. If that gets sorted, this, for me, will be the best Japanese places in the north of London.
