This palce is not worth it. Food is tasteless and service pathetic. Cheap ambience and very loud music(actually irritating!). This was my first and last visit to the place.

I don't usually contribute to reviews but for the first time I am doing this with a view to save some of you a nightmare experience. Went there yesterday for the first time. I had pre- booked for a party of 7 and still had to wait for ages in the queue. Eventually got a table. Starters came in at different intervals for us. By the time we had our main course it was torture as again only one dish was served (cold) and half an hour later no sign of any more dishes. We noticed that the same was happening on other tables. Two hours later we threatened to cancel our order and mysteriouly the food appeared!! but only for 5 of us. We had resigned by now and ate what had so far had been served. When the bill came we were charged for things we never had!!. Although this was later put right the manager was not interested in my complaints and simply offered a 10% discount towards our next visit!!. I told him we will never return and left. Do not go this place unless you want to waste your time and throw your money down the drain.

I've been to Tulsi quite a few times. Expect to struggle getting someone to take your orders. Once it is done, you would have to wait a good 15 mins to get your starters in and it is highly recommended to order the main meals as well at the same time in order to guarantee service. Food is fine over there but I would certainly recommend everyone to stay away from the chinese dishes they prepare since I found them a bit bland. Indian starters are fine, main courses can be improved. Drinks seem to be over priced, thank God you can order a jug of drink to save costs when with a large number of people there.

Their buffet is a mixture of good dishes and average dishes which for me is no good so I never go for the buffet option. Atmosphere is a bit noisy so they do not get much points in this area.

Overall, not really a bad restaurant but with a little bit of tweaking in price and atmosphere it's not far from being a good restaurant in Wembley.

Service : was rubbish. The waiters did not have a clue. I had to ask if the juice was fresh and every time the indian head roll erupted. What does that mean. I eventually found it was fresh from a tin....The juices are made of sugar syrup and the cost was expensive relatively.

Food was below ok but edible....given there are many people starving in the world....but would not recommend it at all. All the food came at once which makes you think is it all pre prepared? After a bit of the starter I told the waiter to warm the main course but he did not understand.

The lettuce was browning and I now was not happy and complained to the manager who said ok and change the lettuce from the salad bowl that they originally served. I then said all the tomatoes in the salad seem to have gone off.

The manager was called again. He said he could do nothing.

I was embarrassed and then I thought the best thing was to leave.

Would not go there again....I would rather go somewhere else......

I highly recommend Blue Elephant and for a special price of £12.50 for a 3 course meal itslovely this is via www.toptable.co.uk

DO NOT GO TO TULSI UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE GUARANTEED OF BEING TOLD LIES, COLD FOOD, FRESH FRUIT FROM A TIN!!!, ETC.....

Went there for the first time last night after having heard much about the place. I pre-booked a table as we were a family going for a meal, they suggested we sit were they have live music. We expected a light backgound music, however when we arrived we were literally sitting infront of a big speaker playing loud music. We could not even have a conversation. The service was very poor, some of the dishes we ordered did not even turn up! The final straw was when people started dancing and pushing our table whilst we were trying to have a meal. I threated to have a fight with someone at which point the waiter started serving us. The food was ok but I won't go there again and certainly would not recommend it - go to Jashan instead!

used to go to tulsi often until the last time when we had to wait for almost an hour for a table. it was really annoying that they allow vip treatment for friends and family of the waiters.

When we eventually got our table and ordered our food, the food came at irregular intervals and as there were 8 in our party, a couple of us had nearly finished before the others had even started.

To add to the misery, we ordered szechuan noodles (only for the very brave) and nowhere on the menu does it indicate that this is probably the hottest dish in the world. So when it came and noone could eat it, the waiter insisted that szechuan noodles are always spicy. Here's a middle aged indian man giving me a lesson in chinese food. So after speaking to the manager, he took it off the bill and we were all too annoyed to ever come back here again. Avoid it at all costs, theres plenty of nice restaurants down the road from this one.

Food is always excellent. Staff are friendly and welcome children. Have always allowed my 6 year old daughter to share food for no extra cost.

To those unfamiliar, would recommend the thali.
