your comments review this restaurant and win a bottle of champagne

first couple of times me and my family went it was alright...however, on the last two occassions the service and food was ordinary at best...had to wait 45 mins for starters that were cold by the time they came...everyone got their main course at different times...there was very little room to move around and that showed when waiter nearly dropped food all over table next to ours...manager seemed too relaxed and not bothered with any complaints given to him

not likely to go there again

This is one of the worst places I have ever been to. Me and my family only went these due to so much hype and it was a COMPLETE let down

The service was virtually non-existant, we had to wait ages for our order to be taken, and even longer for the food to come (even though we were the only people in the restaurant, on a Saturday afternoon)

We were then told that some of the dishes we ordered were "not available" and when we eventually received our food, it was adequate at best!

This was my first visit to this place they actually call a restaurant, and I DEFINATELY will not be going again!

I have been quite a few times to Tulsi in the past month or so. I would say that the restaurant overall is OK. The menu choice is absolutely huge - but after having ordered a few different ones each time we went I have realized that they all seem to taste exactly the same - I suspect they use a common base sauce for most of them, the last time we ordered bhindi masala and aloo mutter they were so identical in looks we couldn't tell which one was which, so other than the aloo, mutter and bhindi the "masala/curry" is more or less the same. I find the food on the spicier side but thats probably to do with personal taste. Some of the things I particularly like are the tomato soup , appetizers ( sev puri , bhel puri particularly) and naan/roti have always been satisfying. Please ditch the buffet its not worth it. The service is nice and people are friendly although they are forever trying to rush you out atleast thats how it seem son a saturday night. All in all if you like spicy hot food and don't mind most of your dishes tasting the same in a bollywood music thumping restaurant Tulsi is great for you. Its certainly worth going in if your out of options

Dined in many indian restaurants around london but this place takes the biscuit.Plenty dishes here you may not have seen or heard about, what an extensive menu with dishes consistently fresh and expertly executed and served. The artistic paneer schezuan dosas,The colourful veg hakka noodles,Masterful chilly baby corn mushrooms and Heavenly milk shakes and Bhels from the cocktail bar,Bring along a large party of friends so you can sample every bit of the menu cross sectionally.Bright colourful decor, extremely friendly staff, well balanced atmosphere.

Tulsi is the best! and pure vegetarian food is very hard to find!!

i am shocked at some of the reviews as i never experianced any problems what so ever. even if there had been a few annoyances it would have gone unnoticed as the food was great, and the staff make actual conversation unlike other restaurants where it is just about the ordering, taking your money and sending you off before you've even finished.

not for snobby people i guess as this is a truly at home experiance and much fun to be had in this unique indian atmosphere. what other restaurent offers live music and and great prices for such authentic food.

as for waiting, it seems that this place is always busy as it is very popular so it is expected that you will wait until a table is free.

The best by far,and iam a frequent visitor to most of our traditional indian restaurants. Here you will taste the most original and authentic dishes with matching flavours to suit every pallet, not to mention the friendly staff and the brilliant live music at no extra cost.I wish them every succes thier way.probably the best pure vegetarian restaurant in the west.
