Went here on Monday for Nan's birthday after much hype by mother in law. Utterly awful, don't subject yourself to it. We were sat down with menu's and did not have a drinks order taken for nearly 20 minutes (when we were asked to order food). The place was dead so there is no excuse for a delay like this.
We ordered 3 lamb racks and were served 1 rack and 2 plates of what looked like a very poor attempt at a minute lamb cutlet roast dinner for nearly £20 each.
Staff were as miserable as a wet weekend, manager in particular had a face like a slapped backside all night. Every question we asked about the menu was greeted by a scowl and a resounding 'what?!?'. Having worked in a few restaurants myself, I can honestly say I would have been sacked if I had acted like this.
The prices are absolute daylight robbery and the food standard is nothing to write home about, be warned you are paying for the post code. The open front plan does not create a nice intimate atmosphere. Might work better during the daytime but I will not be going back to find out.
For a nearby alternative with plenty of character check out Trattoria Lucca on Parkway in Camden Town - fantastic value, great food, and the waiters will put a smile on your face

Like this restaurant, food is of very good quality and unlike other review I always find it hot.Good value, lack of staff numbers results in delays in waiting for service but worth it.

I took my parents there for dinner and all the meals arrived cold and my fish was undercooked, all this after waiting 25 mins for our main course to arrive. The service is unfriendly and the manager was sour-faced throughout the evening. It was a throughly unenjoyable experience, one never to be repeated.
