Dar Latifa

I have been there a few times now and have always thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the ambience. On a couple of occasions we have just ordered a selection of starters which have been more than adequate and extremely tasty not to mention fresh. The main courses, tagines etc are authentic and highly recommended.
The staff are friendly, polite but unobtrusive. I am thrilled that we have this restaurant in Hampton as there are few good restaurants in the area.

Went here for a meal with four of my friends. I thought the food was good, but the bill was a big shock very expensive at £180. Considering we only had a two course meal with three bottles of wine.

The food and service at Dar Latifa is superb, having eaten there many times i have yet to be disappointed, her lambs liver is to die for and the tagine is mouthwatering. I also enjoy chatting with her whilst waiting for the next delectable dish whilst the atmosphere makes you feel you are indeed sitting in a house somewhere in Morocco!

Having eaten at Dar Latifa last night I can only endorse the previous comments and recommendations on this site. Food personally prepared, like eating in the home of a very good cook.

Always a pleasure to eat here. And pleased that there is now a (limited) wine list (BYO still accepted) and credit cards now accepted. The food remains exceptional, from the spicy, best-yet-tasted Lebanese mezzes to the tender, succulent tajine lamb dishes. The only problem is chatting too much with Latifa and so keeping her out of the kitchen!

A good choice for Mother's Day lunch, en famille, with Moroccan & Lebanese ambiance; ladies chatting over mint tea, with the proprietoress, while the patron does the rest. Our sons enjoyed spag bol & meat balls, respectively and more spicily than elsewhere, while we wolfed the rustic coucous and lamb with prunes. The starters were apetising and aromatic, we finished with petit fours and coffee to shame the chains. Dar Latifa seems to have both ends of the Mediterranean covered. It is BYO, & cash only, which was a fititng finale as only my wife had sufficient funds to fit the bill. Surely a perfect Mother's Day lunch?
