We're in the process of chosing a restaurant for a 30th birthday party. Should be 35+ people of varied age. We decided to pop into the Acropolis to check out potential seating arrangements, having discussed our requirements with someone on the phone. We were relieved that nobody bothered to come up to us as we entered, because a minute was all we needed to decide this was not the place for us. It absolutely stank of fresh AND stale smoke, yet there didn't appear to have been lunch bookings and it was only early afternoon. The smoke lingered on our clothes as we walked back down the road. Dread to think how we'd feel after a whole evening of it. Despite the fact that a few people in our party are smokers, this is definitely not an option!

This restaurant was marvellous! I live in Wimbledon and couldn't make up my mind as to whether the tube journey would be worth it. But indeed it was! The restaurant itself was very smart and nicely set out. The service was not amazingly quick but average for a restaurant on a Saturday night. The food was not just Greek and so they had options for my young son, who is a fussy eater, to choose from. The waiters were polite and recommended the most complimenting dishes. The value for money was rather good because there was entertainment (plate smashing and music) included which was a real treat for all of us. I am certainly planning on returning!

Totally rubbish.I was looking forward to taking my family out for a good greek meal.When we sat down and ordered our drinks we noticed allot of people smoking on other tables.It was like a smog.My son found it hard to breath.The menu was really confusing.It took the waiter 5 min to explain.When the food arrived it looked terrible and it tasted even worse.And it was really expensive.Never again.Had to wash all my clothes.Smoke smell.
