We're round the corner from this place and go there on a regular basis.
Very surprised by the previous review - never had anything but excellent service and delicious food!

I took a friend out for lunch on the public holiday few weeks back.....thought i'd take her to casa mia because i used to go there all the time for lunch when working close by - its always cheap and cheerful - which is always good.....so thought couldn't go wrong......well its been a while since i have been there - not sure if managment or chef have changed but i was rather disappointed with the food & the service that we recieved. Nothing i have ever seen before & wouldn't expect from a homely italian resturant. We got there just in time for the lunch special (15mins before it was to stop) and weren't even offered the lunch time special menu's - but got them when asked; the waitress wasn't too impressed and made it out as though she was doing us a favour. I ordered the calazone - because i know its a gorgeous pizza - the pizza ingrediance didn't look cooked (ham & the mushrooms) and the pizza was rather cold - so i sent it back - there is no way i want to eat a half cooked cold pizza - it came back 1 min later - which she had popped it in the microwave - it still wasn't hot - no where near - so i returned it again - and she popped it in the microwave yet again - this time it was steeming- but the pizza was all shriveled up - and the dough wasn't crispy it was mushy.....i couldn't believe that she didn't offer to make another one - ask is there something wrong with it - rather just said you don't like it - ohhhh and then handed us the bill when we didn't even ask for it.......was not impressed and rather really disappointed all round.

With my girlfriend, we've visited this place once, as it is near the local cinema, and since then we are regular guests. Atmosphere is great - you really can feel famous Mediterranean hospitality, owners are very friendly. They are looking after their guests, but they do not rush you or talk you into something you don't want to eat. Food is good, we tried almost everything and some of the recipies are amazing. Not mentioning the value - prices are low, especially comparing to other restaurants in London. I can fully recommend Casa Mia for having a nice meal, or even romantic dinner.

I am surprised I am the first to comment on this restaurant. My Californian friends currently living in Hammersmith recommended this Italian restaurant to me and I am very glad I took their advice. The food is so affordable yet the food is excellent! Very high quality of food. The bruschettas are so gorgeous! I recommend their seafood pasta dish and their apple pie is delicious! Home made too! The service is amazing. The staff are incredibly friendly!

I visited this restaurant on a Wednesday evening(28/09/05) and although not packed it was busy. Service was first class and quality of food was very good. An enjoyable experience I would recommend to anyone. Great value for money and we were even offered a free drink at the end which we reluctantly declined. Will definitely visit again.

This is a small, quite simple but very nice restaurant indeed!
The restaurant serves tasty, traditional Italian starters like bresaola and insalata tricolore. As for the main courses, their pasta, although not fancy, is really nice and their pizzas are great (baked in what must be a wood-fired stone oven). The staff is friendly, and guests are served a complimentary bruschetta appetiser.
This is not a restaurant for those looking for a luxurious dinner experience, but it is great value (three courses with wine is about £20, depending on what you order) and you will definitely feel content and happy when you walk out of there!
