Two words - Aboslutely brillant.

Ok - An extra comment, with the exception of the back room location, this restaurant is up there with the best.

We went for Mothers Day lunch and both the atmosphere and the food were great. The staff are attentive and the owner cares about his guests.

But what a pity the restaurant is not a bit bigger. If you get stuck in the back room or downstairs you feel a bit second class. Let's go on supporting them in the hope that they make enough to lease a bigger place in Wimbledon Village - then it will truly be the best.

Have been to Zero Quattro ona number of occassions now and yet to be dissappointed. The food is great, fresh and tastey and well worth it. The Service is very friendly and warm. We always leave with a smile on our face from both the food and the atmosphere. A great team and the best Italian in Wimbledon. You can pay more in San Lorenzo on Wimbledon Hill and it is not a touch on Zero.

I have eaten at Zero Quattro four times for dinner and 3 times for luch. I felt it was time to give some credit where its due. Giovanni and team are excellent hosts, generating a fun and relaxed atmostphere. The food is superb, fresh ingredients, simple but tasty, exactly how good quality Italian food should be. I was surprised by some of the comments of other reviewers as to the prices, with business rates and rents the price that they are in Wimbledon Village(astronomical) I am surprised they manage to keep the prices as cheap as they are. My wife and I can eat very well for around £80, good value in my view, given the superb quality of food.

As a footnote, I feel that people who complain about the service charge are just silly, if you enjoy your meal and get good service, you are going to leave a tip anyway, if you get bad service then ask for it to removed, stop moaning!!

I've walked past this place many times before, but last Friday, after a tough week for both my wife and I, we decided to eat out somewhere new ...and weren't disappointed. Not cheap, but the food and service were excellent. As we hadn't booked, we had to settle for a table in the small room at the rear which was incredibly noisy and because of its position, meant you couldn't get the attention of the staff as much as if you were out front, but the food more than made up for it. I had a seafood tagliatelle that was the best i've ever eaten. A light but spicy tomato sauce didn't dominate the huge amount (and range) of seafood on the plate. It was brought in a paper bag and emptied out onto the plate, full of prawns, a langoustine, mussels, squid, anchovies (or whiting). My wife's turbot was also excellent. Desserts weren't quite up to the standard of the main course - the profiteroles didn't seem fully thawed and were a little bland, but that's a minor quibble. We will definitely be going back and have added it to our list of other quality London Italian restaurants - with the likes of Locanda Locatelli and Enoteca Turi in Putney.

Have been to Zero Quattro a number of times now and felt i should write in. In short, its an excellent Italian restaurant. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and deal with a full restaurant very well indeed. Ok so if they are one or two staff down, you expect to wait a bit longer between corses, but its such a good atmosphere, its easy to pass time quickly. Food : the simplest of dishes are full of flavour and depth. The tortelloni with sage and butter is divine. The asparagus and goats chees risotto melts in your mouth, the tagliolini with speck and mushroom is sublime. there isn't anything on the menu they do badly. The desserts are wonderful, in particular the tiramisu, maybe the best i've had. The ice cream profiteroles are fantastic too. The thing i love about this place is that they remember you when you go back, the little touches like a parting shot of Limoncello after your meal, they are accommodating in requests as well. As for the 12.5% service charge, i personally have no problems with that, and feel its a justifiable amount to pay. basically it's worth it. For those of you who say its on the pricey side, you need to re think what pricey is. Dont expect 5 star food for Little Chef money!! This is seriously good food, at great value for money. The set lunches they do are incredibly cheap, so if the thought of parting with £30 a head leaves you undecided, then go for lunch first of all.

We need more places like this in London. Long may Giovanni and his crew continue doing what they do best.

Zero Quattro is worth every penny you spend. The starter, the main, the wine and the puddings are delicious! I also rate the atmosphere highly as Giovanni keeps everyone's spirits high with his entertainment!

The food is fantastic - we have never been disappointed. We also love the atmosphere, but if you are looking for a formal, quiet meal this is not the right place. Go with a relaxed attitude and enjoy a genuine, delicious Italian meal.
