Pre-booked birthday party on a Friday night for 17 people.

Service terribly slow, ordered at 7:30, food started coming at 9:15. It took over 20 mins to get a drink and some people had finished eating before others even got their food.

Food quality well below average and of the mixed grill, many said "I'm not even sure what I'm eating and this is oddly chewy". Quite a few people left some of their food. My sea bass was unfilleted and came with tail (thankfully I thought to ask for the head to be removed).

House wine was, I quote, "ropey", "rough", "terrible".

Many of us left hungry but didn't want to wait around another hour or so for dessert.

Waited half an hour for bill to arrive after asking for it many times.

Personally paid £20 for a main course that left me hungry and 2 drinks that took over 20 minutes each to arrive.

Although we were all in good spirits, this did put a bit of a dampner on the evening. The restaurant became very busy (!) and I'm astounded by the other good reviews on here, because I honestly can't think of a single reason to go back there. My advice is to avoid it.

Well after reading the last review about this place me and my partner were nervy about going but wanted to try it.

As soon as you enter you get a warm welcome from the staff, on the left is the chef cooking the meat on a open grill which is nice.

Non smoking is at the front and smoking at the back on a raised area.

The decor is very nice, and the music is authentic turkish music which is very nice.

The food was very nice, loads of starters to choose from cold and hot. The meze which is priced well has some very nice dish's. Also when the waiting staff tell you what you are about to eat and are very helpfull when asked about things.

The place is very clean and friendly, we even got to talk to the owner who was a very nice lady, and was nice to see she had a hands on approach and was very helpfull.

We were never rushed, and the waiting staff were there when we needed things.

Over all it was a great night that we will be bringing friends and family back to.

One of the most unfortunate Turkish restaurants I've been to.

The restaurant looked like it could have been quite nice to eat there by the looks of the guy cooking the meats on charcoal. Once we walked in, it was time to regret we set foot in there.

We went in one of few nites when the place looked busy, only because there was a wedding taking place at the back and all other customers were literally squashed on all the tables at the front.

The food took ages to come out, it tasted bland, and the waitress was really unpleasant and mean. She gave all of the other tables turkish bread and their drinks but didn't give us bread for ages until we had asked for it, and took her time delivering our drinks.

At the end she rushed to give us our bill to get us to pay and we didn't even ask for it. When we wanted to pay, they didn't even bother come to get it so we had to go up to the cashier to force them to process the payment so we could get the hell out of there.

A waste restaurant space. There's a much better turkish place down at New Cross and a Turkish fast food joint in Lewisham which are 100 times better than this.

I went one evening afterwork for dinner. I had a meze starter to share which was pretty average. I then ordered grilled Chicken Kebab which I wasn't very pleased with, there was hardly any meat and lots of fat.
