YO! Sushi (Trocadero)

came out across the restaurant and were enticed in by the novelty of a conveyor belt serving our dinner...however my beautiful girlfriend who is a sushi-aholic was very unimpressed by the quality of the food, and i am a chicken eater and felt the food was bland and lacklustre. i would say the place is ok once for the theatre of it all but in terms of foof quality, a no go.....

This is a first-class Japanese restaurant and I'm going here quite often. The quality of the food is great and fresh, the prices are ok and the waiters are very nice.
It's a good atmosphere, relaxed and calm and you can watch TV whilst eating or watch the chefs preparing food. The music is New Age as far as I can remember, it's not obtrusive at all.
The great thing about YO Sushi is that you can order things like noodle soups or sushi that's not on the conveyor belt as it's not a popular choice from the menu at no extra cost.
Also the location is quite good which is close to Piccadilly, so you can have some food after some serious shopping on Regent Street or first do the eating and the shopping afterwards. This food served here will most certainly give you strength and stamina for power shopping!
